NeonChat does a simple thing:

It colors the chat+editbox border+background to match the active chat you are about to write.

Now it's easier to notice if you are about to talk into a wrong chat!
Prettiness rules OK!

Yeah, I changed the way EditBox works now, it should be ok with most of the chat-addons for now.

But what, you don't like new winds blowing? Give it a week or so, if it still bothers you, I'll see if there's something I want to do about it

As of latest version the error is gone (yes I should have added I use prat 3.0, but meh... didn't think this might had to do with it)

Anyway, call it nitpicking, but could we pretty please, with much sugar on top, get an option to either enable or disable coloring the background of the chatframe? I personally would like my chatframe to be w/o coloring like it used to be

I had to edit out line 7:
chateditbox:SetBackdrop(GameTooltip:GetBackdrop())
To make it compatible with Prat 3.0 otherwise I had the same Editbox ghrapics as in the pictures below

That's Chatter's problem, not NeonChat's. I tried it and got the same result. Disable Chatter and NeonChat works just like it should.

Filed a bug report about collision with WIM3. (v3.3.7)
Not exactly NeonChat's issue but would be nice if a workaround can be implemented

Dunno what happens but well what you see in the SS is what i get as of v3.03.

With v3.01 everything is working fine on both IM and Classic
