Satrina Buff Frames 3  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 3.1.25
by: Satrina, father0fnine
SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs
Go here: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...o.php?id=12524

+ SBFOptions will now make the background for names visible when configuring to help you not overlap the icons when positioning (which can cause clicks on icons to not register)

Version 3.1.23
+ Fix an error when tracking is enabled

Version 3.1.22

+ Fixed problems with the colour picker

* ha filters should behave a little bit better now
* Vehicle buff frames will update and clear when you exit a vehicle

Been using SBF for a bit now, and I've fallen in love with this mod. However, buff/debuff coloring doesn't seem to play nicely with buttonfacade, and SBF doesn't work at all with the latest version of buttonfacade.

I'm not sure if this was the mentioned "known issue" with BF, but if not, anything you can do to get SBF to brightly and vividly display buff and debuff coloring (red for general, green for poison, etc) when using BF would be glorious.

Prayer of Fortitude Missing Icon

I've been using SBF for awhile now, love the addon. But after patch day today, I am missing an icon for the Prayer of Fortitude buff. Anyone know a fix or are having a similar issue? So far I have hit Clear Data under the Spell tab in the options. But no luck. Thanks

Does anyone know of a similar mod to SBF that does work with ButtonFacade?

I love SBF, but it hasn't been updated in a while, and I'd like to use the latest ButtonFacade.

Latest ButtonFacade (or 3.3.5) no longer seems to work with SBF. I do believe the following change has affected things:

- ButtonFacade will no longer be registered in the global namespace. Authors will have to use AceAddOn or IsAddOnLoaded() check for it.

Buffs

So I just downloaded the buff frame but I am trying to get the Auras to be at the top and the rest of the buffs be in Desending order. But all I can do is get them in desending order with the auras on the bottom. Is there a way i can change it?

Trying again to see if anyone has a suggestion.

I've made a frame to track debuffs on my target, using bars, timers, and icons. I wanted to also track a buff in the same frame, so I was simply going to make the first debuff frame the parent of the buff frame.

But, for whatever reason, the dropdown box "Add Child" does NOTHING when I have the debuff frame chosen in the Parent dropdown box. Every other frame can have a child, no problem.

I tried copying the settings to a new debuff frame, but the new copied frame is incapable of parenting either.

Help would be much appreciated.

It depends on how your stuff is set up. If your totem timers are in your main buff frame and you just want THOSE buffs to not have timers, that's not possible as far as I know. You will either have to 1) create a frame only for totem timers and set that frame to not show the timer itself on those buffs or 2) filter the totem timers out of your main buff frame (if you don't care about the icons at all). From your question, it sounds like you want option 2 since you already have a totem bar, so I'll go from there.

1. Create a copy of your current profile. Not required, but in case you mess something up and can't fix it, you don't have to start over from scratch.
2. Select the buff frame the totem timers are showing up in.
3. Make this frame a Blacklist frame.
4. On the filters tab, filter out your totems' names with the n= parameter. (Click the help button for detailed instructions in-game.)

That should work for you. You're basically telling your buff frame that you don't want to see totem timers at all, so they won't show up there. You can also create a frame only for your totems if you like, although it's probably not needed since you have a bar for them already.

Type /sbf options then click the Profiles button on the bottom right. There you should be able to check what profile you're currently using, so when you log into another toon you can just choose that profile.

n! filters

Anyone else have any problems with n! filters? Getting very weird issues with them.

For example:
  1. Create a new buff frame, ShortBuffs.
  2. Set filter method to Whitelist.
  3. Add in these filters:
    • d<=60
    • a!

Works perfectly.

Now, add in this filter:
  • n!=divine plea

Now, the frame will show everything, including all my auras and buffs with any duration (even 30 minute buffs) as well as Divine Plea. Essentially meaning the n! filter has now stopped any other filters from working.

Second example:
  1. Create a new frame, LongBuffs
  2. Set filter method to Whitelist.
  3. Add in these filters:
    • d>60

Now, the frame will only show spells with a timer, as long as it's above 60 seconds. Now, add in this filter:
  • n!=divine plea

And it will show everything, auras, buffs with short durations, except it won't show Divine Plea. So for this frame the actual n! filter worked, but it stopped any other filters from working. In the ShortBuffs frame, it stopped all filters from working and didn't work itself.

Perhaps I'm missing something simple, or it's a known issue.

The latest releases of ButtonFacade don't work with SBF anymore.

Would be great if that could be fixed...

Open SBFFrame.lua in an editor and search for SetFont. It should show three instances of it. After each line that contains setfont, add another line below that (shown in bold for emphasis) as follows:

slot.timer.text:SetFont(SML:Fetch("font", var.timer.font), var.timer.fontSize, (var.timer.outline and "OUTLINE" or nil))
slot.timer.text:SetShadowOffset(0,0)

slot.name.text:SetFont(SML:Fetch("font", var.name.font), var.name.fontSize, (var.name.outline and "OUTLINE" or nil))
slot.name.text:SetShadowOffset(0,0)

slot.count.text:SetFont(SML:Fetch("font", var.count.font), var.count.fontSize, var.count.outline and "OUTLINE" or nil))
slot.count.text:SetShadowOffset(0,0)

If you just want to make the shadow seem not so far offset, try (1,-1) instead of (0,0).
