I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Hi,

When i use the r filter the buffs/debuffs seem to jump around in their frames. I don't know if anyone else is experience this issue, but it would be great if you could look into it.

Well the "and" might be a bit of a misnomer there. One of my frames I would like visible if I'm mousing over it, in combat, or have a hostile target. Otherwise it would remain hidden.

If it's not currently possible (I didn't see anything about multiple visibility selections in the layout instructions) I... just think it would be neat.

I don't suppose it would be possible to include more conditions for frame visibility?

For example, I'd like to be able to view certain buff frames on mouseover, in combat, and with a hostile target.

If there is some way to do this currently, I don't know how.

The new version (.13) fixed the problem with Berserk that I had. The filter n=Berserk&tt!~armor does exactly what it should now.

I'm having an issue with the new vehicle setting. I made a new bar, set it to vehicles and had it flow into bar 2.

When I use a vehicle like the argent mount, and buff myself it shows up for a second and then goes away again.

Am I missing something?

EDIT: If I just adjust Bar 2 to show vehicle buffs and remove bar 4 entirely (the newly created vehicle bar), it works fine.

But I found a new problem. When I cast a vehicle buff (such as the argent mount spell "defend), the debuffs that are flowing into bar 2 move down half the screen.

Thanks for the quick reply to my previous comments

I do think that like you said there might be some bug going on with the "n" negation, and possibly also with the "tt" negation. For example, I have a bar I'm using to monitor all procs under 5 minutes in duration. I am using a whitelist of "D<5&!my". However, I don't want to see heals as I monitor those with grid. Using the "tt!~heals" command not only allows me to see the heals other people put on me - but it also allows me to see my own rejuvenations

In addition, I'm using a command of "n~potion" to monitor potion effects, and if I pop of Potion of Speed, it doesn't show up, even though the duration is appropriate. I'm wondering if the "my" modifier is throwing this off, so I'm still messing with it.

If I'm misunderstanding something about this, please let me know, like I said before...I'm still working out the kinks, lol.

Hm, interesting. I assume going back to 3.1.12 fixed it? If it kept giving you trouble, that's hard for me to troubleshoot. If you don't mind emailing me your SBF saved variables (.../WTF/Account/<ACCOUNTNAME>/SavedVariables/SatrinaBuffFrame.lua), that would help a lot.

Same with Isheria if you're still having that problem.

I see that now Satrina, that it was not the same error. This error was popping up when typing /sbf options. The editbox text never registered (that is to say, it stayed in the edit box) after pressing enter, and this error popped up. Logging in and out and exiting and restarting the client didn't fix this. SBF also stopped showing up in my BF menu. I couldn't get any of the buff frames to display, so I rolled back to the previous version.

Cyanix - I suppose I could add an option to not disable the default buff frames, but it seems pretty silly to download a super customisable buff addon and still want the static default stuff.

NarusegawaNaru - yes, that's how you determine if an effect is a weapon enchant.

duhwhat - that's not the same error the other person was getting. I'll bet that it went away after you reloaded UI or logged out and back in, though.

having one problem with 3.1.13. whenever i refresh a short duration buff like glyph of life tap or eye of the brood mother trinket stacks refresh, the entire bar will disappear and reappear with the refreshed duration. it seems like it has something to do with the throtting, setting throttle to 0.05 the disappear and reappear thing happens quicker.

my setup is: frame 3 has all buffs that i apply to myself that are less than a minute, frame 1 is all my other buffs. buffs that should appear in frame 3 show up in frame 1 first, then move to frame 3.

I got the same effect for poisons. I have a frame where i show up the debuffs i applied to the target (mostly poisons). This frame seams to redraw very often (maybe everytime a poison proccs?). If i set throttle to 0.05, i do not notice this strange effect so often.

I am running SBF 3.1.13
