SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

I found a problem in that it seems he tooltip for a given icon is always stuck to it's upper-left corner. I figured that was the anchor-relative point of my tooltip mod (TipTac), but changing that correctly changes it for everything but SBF.
So it sounds like it's something SBF does, not TipTac. Is there a way to "force" the anchorpoint of tooltips?

jdaniel - The s filter was working on Jaraxxus and the champions fight for me this afternoon just fine.
Kazie - global tab, "Auras have max time" checkbox Graubart - will look into the name thing, thanks! Star1814 - You are almost certainly getting a Lua error, but have error reporting turned off in game People with ButtonFacade problems - I have BF enabled on all my characters to try and figure out what's going on, but the skins are holding just fine. Any steps on how to reproduce the problem would be most welcome! asthalon - not in SBF 3.1. Most likely in SBF 3.2 Audrey - o hai!

Hi Satrina..
I like your addon very much .. but is it possible that you could make auras and other buffs that doesn't have any duration, to show up as the longest time/duration when sorting that... I'm not sure if you understand what i mean, but atm. it's showing them as the next to expire. -Kazie |

Instead, use "Icon Size" and "Font Size" to scale each feature separately. It's a little more work, but through trial and error I've found it keeps each as crisp/clear as possible. |

Options frame not showing up in version 3.1.18
The options frame is not showing up in version 3.1.18. I was going to fiddle around with my settings as changing screens, and voila -- options frame doesn't show up on the /sbf options command. The buff frames do however become interactive and you can move them as normal.
I've stripped bare the WTF files and still get this error. Downloaded and replaced the old folders, version 3.1.18, and issue remains. (Yes, SBFOptions is enabled along with SatrinaBuffFrames itself) |

i am trying to find my way with sbf atm, gotta admit very sweet addon so far but now i encountered a problem i couldn't solve by using the faq/help site.
when i use flowing to merge my debuff bars into my buff bars, whenever i apply a debuff or a debuff is running out, it says Name[full] for a split second before displaying the debuff's name. additionally the parent-child relation between the 2 bars sometimes get simply removed and i can't select the debuff bar as child anymore any way to avoid that? /edit another thing just came up. being an arms warrior i used event alert so far to show procs of sudden death and taste for blood. now i set up sbf to do so, but i noticed that the skill icons, when i scale 'em to 2x become quite blurry compared to what it looked like with event alert

Every time I relog / reload the ui my ButtonFacade skin changes back to bliz defaults. Seen a post on ButtonFacades comments about this and they said it was a problem with SBF... don't think the original poster posted about this bug here. Could you look into this? The bliz skin burns my eyes...

SBF
Hello,
Picked up SBF today and I have to say I'm impressed by its depth and the easy flow of the config GUI. Anyway, the reason I picked it up (in hope) was to try and set my buffs up in a HUD-curve, so the buff icons curve around my current HUD health bars. I use IceHUD, which is not capable of that, so I thought a customizable buff frame manager would be the way to go. I'm having some trouble figuring out a way to set up the filters & flowing in approximately the following formation: Code:
6 5 4 3 2 1 What I'm wondering is: is there a way to set up a filter that will not show a buff/unit combination if that buff/unit combination is already shown, the net result of which would be to sequence the buffs through different frames without having to specifically declare which buff goes in which frame. And, obviously, if it is possible, how? |

My computer locked up (SHADOOOOOOOOWED!!! /fist) while I had SBF Options open and I had to hard crash WoW the old-fashioned way.
Now, every single time I open SBF Options, it makes the "SBF Boing" sound (totally independent of any debuffs/alerts actually being present). This is actually rather amusing, but I can envision it getting old some day. To plan properly for the future, I'm curious if you have any quick band-aid fixes I can try to make it stop. :3 |

It makes me sad when I edit the SaveVariables file (because I can't copy just 1 frame between profiles... yet), misplace one @#$!% "{" symbol, and SBF responds by merrily deleting all the data inside said file.
If I didn't have OCD and backup everything before tinkering with it, I might be inclined to cry. The "o hai", while cute, doesn't really help me feel any better. lol. |
