Afflicted3   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Afflicted is an enemy spell timer mod for PvP (mainly arenas). This is for people who just want useful information, such as an interrupt is on cool down and you're safe to cast a heal or that Blessing of Freedom is going to be back up for an enemy Paladin soon. If you want to know the cool down of an obscure ability say Whirlwind then this is not the mod for you. New timers for abilities that are not included by default can easily be added under the configuration. However, the system is flexible enough that any enemy timer can be added including traps or totems.

Alerts for when a spell is triggered (or ends), as well as when you interrupt or dispel an enemy are included. All alerts can be shown inside party, raid, raid warning, combat text or a specified chat frame.

Slash command: /afflicted

NOTE: Dispel and interrupt announcements will not be part of Afflicted come next push (when 3.2 goes live), they have been broken off into Purgeatory

Click the number in the middle directly below the slider and you can enter your own. It's always been like this even in Afflicted2.

that new slider system in afflicted3 is alot worse than the old field where you type in the value of the cooldowns like it was in afflicted2, you cant move the slider precise enough to hit the numbers regardless of what you do, please give back the old type in manually field, or a better alternative

Yes you have to reconfigure Afflicted3 completely, and it doesn't matter it'll reset the DB you can delete the SV if you want thought.

Probably a bug, but Afflicted3 is being pushed out as soon as 3.1 is released... and all signs point to it being tomorrow meaning I'll be pushing Afflicted3 tonight. So wait for that.

Quick noob question

Great addon btw!

I'm just curious, does this addon take time to register certain Cds? I say this because sometimes cooldowns that i've enabled, don't show up on the CD anchor. Kick or Kidney shot for example were not showing up on the CD anchor. even tho i've double checked to make sure the CD was enabled on the spell.

Is this typical or i'm i being a retard and missing something?

NOTE I am moving to using my portal for feature and bug requests, please direct them to http://www.wowinterface.com/portal.php?id=269 from now on general comments and such can still go in the comments, but as I do not have unlimited time anymore it's easier for me to see what needs to be fixed or implemented if I can just look at a single list instead of searching through 60 addon comments.

Is there a way to delete anchors? I have an anchor for "Afflicted (Totems)" on my screen even though the "Totems" anchor is not enabled and I have "Hide timer anchors" on. I'm using r1140, I tried deleting my entire Afflicted folder before installing it and I also tried the bars.lua a few posts down.

It's not supposed to show server names, I always thought I had it stripping those but fixed next push.

Showing -ServerName in bar text is kind of not needed 99.9% of the time (and 99.9% of the time it's just annoying :-)).

Fixed next push, in the mean time type /script Afflicted.db.profile.anchors["Kidney Shot"] = nil and don't create an anchor with a space in the name.

Getting this whenever I /afflicted ui.

The addons still appears to work with the settings I left it with (have no way to change them now)

Ive tried removing all other addons, no difference.

when I type /afflicted ui and press enter the text box does not disappear and the error pops up, no afflicted ui appears.

Can anyone help? Because I love this addon!
