Arena Historian   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
ArenaHistorian is for people who want to keep track of basically everything about an arena match. Lets you see the exact race, gender, talents, healing and damage done for both the enemy arena team and yours, along with which map it was in, how long it took and if you won or lost.

Mouseover the players name to view healing/damage done, mouseover the race icon to see race name/gender and the talent icon to see the exact spec numbers.

Data is stored when the match ends and the scoreboard pops up, meaning if you leave before then no data will be recorded.

If you miss a game and someone else is using a version either equal to or later then r746 you can also sync the missing games now by typing /ah sync

Type /ah history to view the records of your previous arena matches, or /ah config to view the configuration.

If you want to reset your data type the below on the character you want to reset data for.

/script ArenaHistoryCustomData = nil; ArenaHistoryData = nil; ReloadUI();

Note Post bug and feature requests on my issue tracker

For those interested in uploading your stats online see below
Meebs has done a website that takes data from ArenaHistorian and uploads it online, see http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=7736887183&sid=1 for more information.

This doesn't require any exe's or additional programs to run beyond ArenaHistorian and a web browser.

What are you doing that you'd need a reset button in game? The only people I can think of who would be changing teams enough are point sellers, but chances are you wouldn't care about stats then.

would be nice if you could put a reset button there instead of copy pasting on the chat window! but anyway still good arena mod!

I'll consider it, but no promises.

1) Yeah, but on the other hand, if you have any matchups with pure DPS classes (Mage, Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, Warrior)...you really don't care about the spec breakdown much, I just want to see a total.

2-5) Thanks!

1) I was considering that, but I don't see much point since you have comps like Shadow Priest/Rogue which is completely different from Disc Priest/Rogue, knowing you can beat the latter 90% of the time time won't help you much when you still lose to Shadow Priest/Rogue 50%+.

2) Will look into that

3) If I get #2 added, I'll add this.

3) Planning on adding a dropdown that lets you view it by names, so if you have Apple/Orange and Banana/Peach on the same 2vs2 team you can show games with just Apple/Orange, Banana/Peach or both. But I'd have to redo how stats are done which is why I haven't yet.

5) Don't really have much room to add it, and can't see it benefiting much.

This addon is awesome, extremely well done! With the recent addition of the stats summaries, it basically does everything I've been hoping some creative addon author would come up with.

I have a few improvement ideas I'd like to share that you may or may not already be working on:

1) At the top of each summary box, add the total counts for that box. For example, in the Rogue/Priest box see "Rogue/Priest 4:8 (33%)" at the top. I'd probably use this more often for quick reference than looking at all the specific spec breakdowns.

2) Make filters affect the stats page. Mostly I want the class filters to affect the stats so I can answer the question quickly, "Are we losing too much to teams with warriors (or pallies, etc.) on them?" or "If there's a mage, they seem to pwn us more...who are they matching up with that's killing us?" I could see it being useful though to have ALL the filters on the left affecting the stat summaries that are displayed.

3) At the top of the stats page, add a total wins/losses display for every match displayed. This would be most useful if #2 above was implemented.

4) Add "Friendly player/team name" searches so you can only see the results of yourself paired with teammate X or Y to answer the question, "Which team makeup has better synergy?". It'd be nice to somehow be able to punch multiple names in here for a 3v3 or 5v5...this might also be the beginning of being able to store arena data per account rather than character so you can view all of your team data on one toon if you have multiple characters on one team.

5) This is way over the top imo, and low priority, but just mentioning it in case you like the idea: sorting... of the history & stats pages by basically any data item you can imagine.

Thanks for all your hard work, keep it up!

I might add that later, but I'm not really sure how I want to do it visually.

nice addon!
would it be possible to choose the lineup you played before getting the 2on2/3on3/5on5 stats? Would give more accurate informations, if you change teams alot!

Shouldn't be, I don't make any drastic changes to the storage format to keep backwards compatibility, if you still have issues let me know and I'll try and dig into it more.

I deleted the folder and downloaded version 797 today. I used the script to reset my stats and haven't had an arena session yet to fill in the data yet. Maybe it was a case of the old dataset not compatible with the newer version?

Does it show question mark for everyone, or only your team mates?

I have an odd problem. The class icons only come in as the Question mark. I say it's odd because the text of the name is correct for the class. So I know it has the class stored somewhere. Is there something obvious I'm missing. It makes it very difficult to get the class statistics.

Type the below in game, and see if that fixes it

/script ArenaHistorian.db.profile.lastBracket = 2; ArenaHistorian.db.profile.lastType = "stats";
