Description:
One-key mounting solution, useful whether you have just one mount or several.
Supports all mounts currently in game, sensibly chooses/randomizes between what you have.
Bind a key and hit it to mount/unmount or shapeshift/deshift, or use '/click GoGoButton' in a macro.

Spell support:
- Supports Shaman and Druid travel forms - in combat as well

Autodismount support:
Dismounts you automagically when clicking on herbs/ores or using offensive spells/abilities.
Use '/gogo auto' to toggle this on/off.

Preferred mounts support:
You can assign one or more preferred mounts for each zone.
Use '/gogo ItemLink' or '/gogo SpellName' to add pref.
Use '/gogo clear' to clear prefs for current zone.
Warning: GoGo will use your preferred mounts even if you have faster ones.

Excluded mount support:
You can exclude mounts that you never ever want to see.
Use '/gogo exclude MountLink' to add a mount to the exclusions list.
Use the same command to remove a mount from the exclusions list.

The /cast command only works in macros from what I've seen. Create a macro with /cast Amani War Bear, see if that works.. if not change it to /use Amani War Bear. I changed the /cast to /use a couple versions back when people having the same problem reported /use worked fine.

If neither work from a macro then this would be a blizzard problem. The only work-around would be for me to switch to using the callcompanion api but that'll break the brooms and druid / shaman travel forms. If I had the problem with a mount I could contact blizzard to see what they say but I don't have an Amani War Bear and all of my mounts seem to work.

I had other people try typing /cast Amani War Bear last night to confirm that they could actually invoke the bear that way and they could. It was only for me that it didn't work. I also had tried /use. I hadn't tried it in a macro since that didn't seem to logically make sense that it would be different somehow. That part turned out to be true, it wasn't different, but at your suggestion I tried it and that revealed the real (and wtf ridiculous) problem. I made a simple /cast Amani War Bear macro and moved it to an action bar and immediately saw a problem -- the icon had a 0 down in the bottom left corner as if it were out of charges. Huh? Then something occurs to me, Blizzard mailed us back our mounts after those crashes on patch day wiped out several rare mounts during rollbacks. I never lost mine, so I threw all the items away... EXCEPT for my Deathcharger's Reigns, Reigns of the Raven Lord, and Amani War Bear. I banked those just as mementos of days gone by. Well, they changed the names of all the mount spells to be different than the tokens, EXCEPT for the Amani War Bear. Sure enough for no logical reason when I put the ITEM in my pack, suddenly the 0 went away and the macro started working. So did GoGo. After that I had to take the gutsy step of deleting the item and relogging to see if that ended the confusion the game seemed to be experiencing. I see, cool.

The /cast didn't work for me at all outside of a macro, but now that I think about it, I only used it for testing mounts that didn't work anyways. Another thing I found with a bug on the beta servers is that after learning mounts the command didn't work. Putting /cast mountname in a macro and placing that macro on a tool bar caused problems for me where an icon would show but the name of the macro didn't show. Just another way to tell if something is wrong with the macro.

As far as the /use and /cast commands go, Warcraft seems to build an index of all items in bags, in the bank, spell books, mounts and pets. When using /use it goes through that list and tries to cast the first item with that name it finds. I haven't run into this problem because the mounts and pets Blizzard mailed me are still in my mailbox.

Ah well. I'm glad you got it working. Back to learning the GUI stuff.

Or rather ... it was perfect for my needs, until Blizzard decided to start rewarding the hoarding of all the mounts you could afford to purchase up. I used to keep just my favorite color, or most impressive (hardest to earn) mounts in my bag, and every time I mounted, I was pleased to show it off to the world. Now, I always end up on a gray wolf (boring) or a Pink Hawkstrider. (I'm a BE male, I have a certain image to maintain!) Since we can no longer change what pool of mounts GGM selects from by swapping them in and out of our inventories, could you add some frame with a checkbox for every mount we have, allowing us to easily say "Never use this mount, evar"?

For a GUI interface to select mounts, it's in progress. Some details can be found at http://wow.curseforge.com/projects/g...ecting-mounts/.

In the mean time there is functionality to select mounts you want it to use without the GUI. If you're running at least version 3.0.5 then you'll see an option to use global preferred mounts (computer icon, interface, addons tab, gogomount). Enable that option. Then start adding the mounts you want GoGoMount to use by typing /gogo [mountlink] for each mount. As sson as the first mount is set GoGoMount will ignore all other mounts and will only use the ones you set as a preferred mount.

The only exception to this is if you disable that option and set a preferred mount for the zone you're in. Zone specific preferences will take priority over global preferences.

When I use the hotkey/keybind to dismount, it used to also work for vehicles-type mounts that MC-style take over your view. Using 3.0.6 on live this doesn't currently work. This was extremely helpful as many bar addons still struggle to provide a good dismount solution. For example at the hawk egg cliff quest in the fjord rather than me leaving the bird view at the end, gogomount mounted me on my riding mount while still keeping me in the MC/vehicle mode.

UPDATE: Okay, the problem with Orgrim's Hammer is that it isn't its own subzone, GoGo just thinks you're in Icecrown and MOVING -- and that's why it rejects invoking a mount and instead calls Ghost Wolf. GoGoMount calls Blizzard's dismount API call to dismount you. That hasn't changed in any version of GoGoMount. If it's not working now where it has in the past then it's probably a change done on Blizzard's side of handling vehicle type mounts.

I'll see if I can get to this quest to see what it's doing and will try to find a way around it if possible.

This site hosts the release versions which is the same as the release versions on Curse. You've downloaded a beta version from Curse which is bugged (but that's why it's beta).
