Mapster

Mapster is a very simple world map enhacement addon, which was designed to work in conjunction with all other map addons out there. The idea to create Mapster originated from pure lack of a simplistic addon that only modifies the world map, without adding a full scale feature set.

Features

Map Style (Scale & Alpha)
Coordinates
Fog of War removal
Enhancement of the raid/party group icons

You can access the Mapster configuration menu through the new button on the world map, as shown in the screenshot.
All features (except the style) can be turned off individually if you do not need/want them.

If you're looking for a replacement to Cartographer, i also recommend the following addons:

Gathering -> GatherMate (Hosted on WoWAce -> Download)
Waypoints -> TomTom

I agree about the Zone info. Showed recommended levels, fishing requirements, dungeons and their levels, etc, etc.

Is there a addon that might do this now??

For example, I click on the drop down menus to change the continent, but nothing happens. If I'm in Grizzly Hills and I click on Zul'Drak, nothing happens. Anyone else have something like this going on? EDIT: There seems to be a conflict with some other mod. I'm tracking it down. After much time troubleshooting by eliminating other AddOns, I finally tried deleting the Mapster folder in AddOns and the Mapster.lua files in SavedVariables, then reinstalling Mapster. That fixed it.
Ahh... much better!

I think QuestHelper corrupted something in Mapster. I won't go into the whole story, but I posted some details in QuestHelper's comments.
