Buffet

Buffet is a simple water/food managing addon inspired by BaudConsumables and Munchies.

Unlike Baud and Munchies, Buffet does not swap items on the action bar (the noise bothered me). Instead it edits macros on the fly (out of combat) to provide you with the best food, water, potions, stones, and bandages.

To make Buffet work, you must provide two macros, "AutoHP" and "AutoMP". Drop these on your action bar like any other macro, Buffet will change the macros as needed to provide you with food and drink out of combat, potions and stones in combat, and bandages on shift (HP macro only, of course). Buffet will always pick the smaller stack if equal-strength items are found. Conjured items will always be preferred over permanent ones.

It's really not that easy to make the number of macros a configurable thing tho - it's a simple mod which would end up bloated if Tekkub (or anyone else) went that way I think...

WoW 7 Macro's is death-to-macro-options

2 that do this,

#1 Combat: Health Pot, NoCombat Food, ALT-HealthStone, Shift-Bandage
#2 Combat: Mana Pot, NoCombat Drink, ALT-ManaGeM, Shift-Evocation
the extra options on #2 assume that you are a mage...
...otherwise they wouldn't be there.

this would be killa space and time saver

and i still cling to leaving Stars Tears out. or perhaps set their size to 32453:7199 in the lua (which is what I go and do, every flippin time I reinstall) since i have to spend honor on em, not much but their real use is in arena as the only working food or water that i know of.

Lower-rank food regens too-slowly for most people's liking - almost every player I know finds eating/drinking to be annoying and seeks the best possible food/drink to reduce it as much as possible.

Food is relatively cheap as well - I doubt many players care about the cost-saving aspect much and it's certainly cheaper than bagspace - which many people have so little to spare than they'd never consider carrying more than 1 type of food anyway?

All IMO ofc - it's quite possible to do what you're suggesting, but I think most players would be more annoyed than happy to see it...

It's a constant amazement to me that people seem to think they need training courses and whatever else before they reapply the skills they've been taught several times already to something just a TINY bit different.

Either I have some amazing natural gift (and I don't believe in those) or there are some problems with the way people are trained and chosen to work in software development
