I have written a new action bar addon, called Dominos, and am no longer supporting this one. Please feel free to try it out, along with Trinity Bars, and Bartender 3

Bongos3 is a main action bar replacement designed be both powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.

Included Addons:

Bongos - The core addon.
Bongos_AB - The action bar portion of Bongos.
Bongos_CastBar - A casting bar replacement. Colors the bar based on if the spell being cast is helpful, harmful or neutral. Also includes a timer.
Bongos_RollBar - Makes the dialogs that pop up when rolling on items movable.
Bongos_Stats - A movable framerate, latency, and addon memory usage indicator.
Bongos_XP -A movable experience/reputation bar.
Bongos_Options - A load on demand options menu.

Every bar can be moved, hidden, and have its scale and opacity altered
Sticky bars - Each bar can be anchored to any other bar
120 action buttons, which can be setup in any number of bars
Customizable stance transitions and state visibility for each action bar
Buff and debuff highlighting on action buttons

I don't touch the zone bar. Perhaps you're using Bongos Cornucopia?

This user reported this bug some days ago at Cornucopia page. I told him that it could be something related to the Bongos Core, because Cornucopia doesn't hide/show to zone bar, it just creates a bar and attaches the zone frame to it.
The only explanations I can see are:

Is there a way to enter an argument that allows an Action Bar to page under two different states? That is, can I set an Action bar that will be seen on page one out of combat, on poage 2 in combat, but can still be manually flipped back and forth in case I want to in or out of combat? I've figured out how to do one or ther other, but I'm having trouble figuring out if it's possible to do both. Thanks again!

That involves hacking the state menu (there's some information about that at the end of the wiki), and adding in [combat] and [nocombat] after the page states. That way, the page states are checked before the combat ones.

Keyring button will not be able to be altered. I really cannot make the bag bar be able to have its layout altered if I do make it the normal button.

The experience bar, I want to do more with it eventually, but not right now. Anyone can feel free to make a new version of it for me :P

Tooltips - Tip of the day style ones I try to avoid. Everything in Bongos should be self evident. The fact that I need the popup box when in config mode is a failure on my part.

Greetings again. Reading the download page after playing with the addon, I have figured out the answers to my questions below about what and why for the Cast Bar and Roll Bar. Oddly, the language in the Wiki page left me a little mystified until I had worked with the plugin a bit. Still hoping for an answer to the various other questions. Thanks!

Popup tooltips associated with the various buttons and functions would really be useful for those of us who are just learning our way around Bongos. Will they be incorporated into the full release?

Bongos2 and 3 are completely independent of each other, so there should be no issue when transitioning between them. I'm still at a loss as to why your issue is happening. Does it occur without bongos enabled?

I am using Cornucopia and posted there but they cant seem to figure it out either. I posted here because i used to have that problem with bongos 2 but i just reloaded the profile and the bar came back but it dont work this time.

OK, first off, I'll tell you that I'm a relative noob to addons, so answers may be more self evident than I'm realizing, and if so, my apologies in advance. That said; I too am interested in answers to the questions quoted here, for which I can't find a reply if you posted one.

Additionally I have a question that I know I should have the answer to, but for the life of me, I can't figure out the role of the roll bar or the cast bar or how they're used properly. I want to configure my new B3 download right the first time, so knowing what I'm doing will definitely help. Obviously the cast bar is for casting spells, but should I be putting my castable actions in this bar? And the roll bar? Should this only appear when grouped characters are rolling for a treasure item? Or something I'm missing the point of? The Wiki is leaving me a little confused. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Still working out macros and game language, so some of the abbreviated phrases are still a mystery to me. Simpler the language is, the easier I will be able to comprehend the basics. Thanks again!

First, I should point out that I still have Bongos 2 in my addons folder, I simply don't load the addon when I load.

That being said, I think the settings may have been messed up on the transition, because I don't have this problem with new characters I've made. I tried looking for the bongos saved variables but I couldn't find them, and I don't want to delete my entire WTF folder.

Bongos2 and 3 are completely independent of each other, so there should be no issue when transitioning between them. I'm still at a loss as to why your issue is happening. Does it occur without bongos enabled?
