Description:
oUF P3lim is a layout made for the unitframe framework oUF.
It is a personal layout, customized to my every need, and because of this I do not take any feature requests.
I've written this layout to be easily readable, for those who would like to use it as a reference to their own layout(s).
If you intend to use this layout or parts of it, please credit me for my work.

Features:
  • Minimalistic layout
  • Accounts for most roles and playstyles
  • Easy-to-understand code for forks
  • Completely stand-alone, oUF is embedded
  • oUF Experience is also embedded
  • oUF MovableFrames is also embedded (type /pmf to move)

The following units are supported:
  • Player

  • Pet (health value on player frame)
  • Boss
  • Arena (and preparation frames)

The following class-specific powers are supported:
  • Death Knight (Runes)

The only options available are moving/scaling. Type /pmf to unlock, see interface options to reset.

The width on castbars are set by the with of the unit frames (by anchoring).
You can change the anchors if you wish to set custom width.

Jeez, ask much? Anyway, the oUF_Banzai plugin will color your frame red when you enter combat (if you have aggro). For hiding ToT debuffs, look at lines 259-281. For castbars, look at 287-306. For class coloring, look at 158 for an example, you want to add something like that around 260 and 284. No more handholding than that.

After all that, you've modified quite a bit of p3lim's layout. Why do you use it if you want to change so much about it?

It didnt allow druidmana updates while frequentUpdates for power was enabled.

And if you knew enough, you dont need to have both. This is my private function and its not a perfect base for any kind of objects.

Since you fixed the druidmana, it doesn't work if you only want to display the text but no bars, or well at least after a very quick try. Could have done something wrong though.

It has to do with

Yes, here is an example

   self.barFadeAlpha = 0
end
will make your player frame invisible OOC (you must have oUF_BarFader to do this)

I had a problem with P3lim, I discovered it while I tanked yesterday night. The target of target doesn't update the name (Everything else update like color, health bar, health text).

I ended up with the following modification :

self.UNIT_NAME_UPDATE = updateName

I don't know if it's the right thing to do but it fixed it.
