Description:
oUF P3lim is a layout made for the unitframe framework oUF.
It is a personal layout, customized to my every need, and because of this I do not take any feature requests.
I've written this layout to be easily readable, for those who would like to use it as a reference to their own layout(s).
If you intend to use this layout or parts of it, please credit me for my work.

Features:
  • Minimalistic layout
  • Accounts for most roles and playstyles
  • Easy-to-understand code for forks
  • Completely stand-alone, oUF is embedded
  • oUF Experience is also embedded

The following units are supported:
  • Player
  • Target
  • TargetTarget
  • Focus
  • Party/Raid
  • Pet (health value on player frame)

  • Arena (and preparation frames)

The following class-specific powers are supported:
  • Death Knight (Runes)
  • Druid (Combo Points, Eclipse)

  • Rogue (Combo Points, Anticipation)
  • Warlock (Soul Shards, Demonic Fury, Burning Embers)

Notes:
oUF does not have any options, it is purely based on Lua.

Warlords of Draenor:
As of 50400.20-Release, oUF_P3lim works on the new expansion, although oUF has not yet been updated.
Please make sure you enable "Load out of date Addons", because I won't update the interface number until release.

Current beta version works with oUF 1.1 and WotLK beta, the stable version (normal download) works with the oUF thats here on WoWInterface.

Remember, no bug complaints unless you have the right version to match

I tried the change you suggested to show all raid members in the party frames and it didn't work. I tried a bunch of different combinations in that line also and couldn't get it to work. Is there a change I need elsewhere?

Edit: Cancel this, what you suggested below DOES work. I simply had hide party frames in raid enabled. Thanks again!

A dummy is just a dummy, exactly why its named that aswell..

I just gave a try to your layout and it works just fine, i was only wondering if you could tell me how i could have my pet's powerbar power colored, actually both name and powerbar are happiness colored.
I would like to have the name as it is now, happiness colored and the powerbar, power colored

Noticed an error with your layout. If you put a pet in the stable and then bring it back out, it takes a while for it to update anything, if you use a pet ability it will finally refresh the power bar (and happiness) but it continues to say 'unknown' and 'offline' for the pet untill you dismiss and recall the pet, or revive it.

[edit] You also define a local variable dummy in your updateColor function, what's that for?

There is a slight hack to do it, and it has to be done in the aura.lua inside oUF itself, here is a diff file:

At the bottom there should be a line that looks like this:

Shot in the dark here but.. if you get enough requests for a similar setup to what you had, what are the chances you could post a little snippet of code we could inject to get the party frames to simply show the whole raid?

I'm no LUA master or I'd do it myself, and I'm sure your time is better spent on a million other things, but it would definitely make me very happy to be able to see my raid with this awesome layout

how to prewiev stuff like buffs?

Is it possible to preview stuff like buffs and party/raid frames on screen? Like on you screenshot. To better tune them, i need dummy buffs and stuff.

I noticed that on my hunter alt the pet happiness color of it's power bar was not updating, a reload UI was required to update it's change in color etc. Just throwing that out there, prolly has something to do with the previously mentioned lock pet power color also.
