oUF P3lim  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 60000.21-Release
by: p3lim [More]
Description:
oUF P3lim is a layout made for the unitframe framework oUF.
It is a personal layout, customized to my every need, and because of this I do not take any feature requests.
I've written this layout to be easily readable, for those who would like to use it as a reference to their own layout(s).
If you intend to use this layout or parts of it, please credit me for my work.

Features:
  • Minimalistic layout
  • Accounts for most roles and playstyles
  • Easy-to-understand code for forks
  • Completely stand-alone, oUF is embedded
  • oUF Experience is also embedded
  • oUF MovableFrames is also embedded (type /pmf to move)

The following units are supported:
  • Player
  • Target
  • TargetTarget
  • Focus
  • Party/Raid
  • Pet (health value on player frame)
  • Boss
  • Arena (and preparation frames)

The following class-specific powers are supported:
  • Death Knight (Runes)
  • Druid (Combo Points, Eclipse)
  • Monk (Chi)
  • Paladin (Holy Power)
  • Priest (Shadow Orbs)
  • Rogue (Combo Points, Anticipation)
  • Warlock (Soul Shards, Demonic Fury, Burning Embers)

Notes:
The only options available are moving/scaling. Type /pmf to unlock, see interface options to reset.
See the LICENSE file before attempting to redistribute or use this addon for anything except personal use.

add this to updateName

Code:
	local color = UnitIsPlayer(unit) and RAID_CLASS_COLORS[select(2, UnitClass(unit))]
	if(color) then self.Name:SetTextColor(color.r, color.g, color.b) else self.Name:SetTextColor(1,1,1) end
(and you might have to remove name:SetTextColor(1,1,1) from the func)

local raid = oUF:Spawn"raid" and have set a spawn point different from the party spawn point

so far this is a no brainer, i mean its mostly copy and paste at this point. from here i have no idea what to do. i have tried eiditing the ouf.lua following the guide on http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=10696.400, but still with no luck
can anyone give me any advice on how to get the raid frames to sort by group?

thanks much for any help you can give.
youre asking for help on pUF, well dont look here cause ive disbanded that addon. I use a UNMODIFIED oUF these days and a custom layout. If you need help with anything that has nothing to do with this layout itself, please go to the unofficial post on wowace forums.

anywho, in oUF_P3lim this works:

["raid-groupBy"] = "GROUP"

cheers

hp:SetHeight(17.5) -- custom healthbar height
pp:SetHeight(2) -- custom powerbar height
ppp:Hide() -- Hide powerbar values

Would I change the height value here to something lower? Sorry I'm a lua noob
It should be possible, and tell me if you find out

Means, i dont have a clue right now, it cant be changed like that.

Here's an example:

I'm a mage so I don't care to see all kinds of buffs/debuffs on my target frame. I mainly want to see scorches When it comes to raidframes, I only care if the person is cursed, or if they have Arcane Brilliance.

How likely is that level of customization?

Thanks in advance!
