Ackis Recipe List  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.0.8
by: Torhal, Ackis, pompachomp

Ackis Recipe List is an AddOn which will scan your trade skill recipes and print out a list of which recipes you are currently missing. It will work for all tradeskills.

Profession AddOns:
Due to the increasing data size and memory usage with each WoW expansion, the professions have been split into their own AddOns; you need only download the ones you'll be using. Each installed and enabled profession AddOn will load whenever it's first accessed by the ARL core.

Missing Scan Button

Like a previous poster, my scan button on the trade window is also missing after the recent update to 1.0RC2. I updated thru the curse client. I decided to go manually delete the folder and reinstall, but the scan button is still missing.

I don't use any other tradeskill mods that I'm aware of, unless gathermate counts.

I checked all my other toons and this seems to be affecting all the skills on every toon.

Reverting to the previous version brought the button back.

Re: Ignore List

Just noticed a small bug.

There is a line in the cooking db (and maybe elsewhere, don't know I only use it to check cooking stuff atm) that tests for version=="3.0.8" and if that is not true then doesn't include the recipes for Kungaloosh, Fish Feast and Worg Tartare. Of course now we are on 3.0.9 this test fails and these recipes get missed out!

Easy fix is just to remove the 'if' line and corresponding 'end'.

Ignore List

If you use Alt-Click to ignore a recipe, how do you get it back?

However, if I open the trade skill window and then do a /arl it will scan just fine w/ the scan button there. Not sure if it helps or is worth looking into as I think I found a workaround that will work for me.

Thank you for looking into this!
Yah your tradeskill window has to be opened for the scan to work.

I've added a command: /arl scan which will do the scan in the latest version which should be posted here this week.

Ok just retested, here's a screenshot:

The scan button appears in both so I'm not exactly sure what's going on...

Beta Works...

Hi guys,

I was having the same issue with the scan button being AWOL on the ATSW window. I found that the beta release of the ARL addon seems to work (i.e. scan button is there & works). Go to wowace.com and you can find it there until the one here is updated.

Good luck to ya all,
BJR

Thanks for getting back to me. I am using ATSW v0.7.2 - by Slarti

I just installed the new version of Ackis and do not have button in ATSW. However, it does seem to work correctly if I "scan" from /arl .

As a side note: I do not know if it Ackis or ATSW, but I have a blue bar on the upper right of the ATSW window that show how many out of how many possible recipes I know.

Thanks for your time!
Just wanted to chime in here. I, too, am having this problem using v0.7.2 of ATSW and b12.3 of ARL. No scan button. The blue bar is provided by ATSW, but I am unable to get ARL to show the scan button within the ATSW window. I have tried changing button location from right to left, but this did not help. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may have.
