StealYourCarbon   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
StealYourCarbon is a simple reagent restocker addon. When you visit a vendor who sells an item you have told SYC to buy, it buys it for you. Never run out of water again!

SYC will also attempt to restock from your bank. Note that this feature is fairly simple, if you have multiple stacks of the item in your bank SYC will only pull form the first one it finds. If this stack is not enough to fill your bag the next stack in the bank *will not be used* until you reopen the bank. SYC will not try to split stacks either, so you'll always get a full stack in your bags if enough items are available on the first stack in your bank.

What the hell does the name mean? Just an amusing little phrase I stole from Modest Mouse - Parting of the Sensory

Hello Tekkub a user of your and my AddOn (ImprovedMerchant) have issues when using both AddOns so it looks like this (screenshot: http://666kb.com/i/b0ib93argmx71v19o.jpg ). So I ask you to name your button, so I could move this SYC Button or even that you move your button to another place ?

I appreciate your response

I wiped my WTF/WDB folders, no change. Then I wiped the Interface folder and installed just the addons I really need, and the addon went down to a few kb.
No idea which addon conflicts, but I'm happy ;p

Oh, and I got AddonLoader, thanks for the tip!

I don't know if it's some libraries only used by this addon, or if there's a bug somewhere, but I have stopped using it for now.
On a fresh setup with no other addons loaded... 130.9 KiB after init (including the config panel), 36.8 KiB after GC... yea I think you have a bug somewhere. The only libs SYC uses are my own personal config widget libs, which are extremely small (13 KiB on disk, AceConfig-3.0 is 71 KiB and AceGUI-3.0 is 136 KiB).

Plus if you use AddonLoader, the addon isn't even loaded until it's needed. But then I fear very few people actually realize how wonderful AddonLoader is.

I hope you'll include guild bank too, sometimes I need to restock from there

How's it going anyway, stocking from bank soon? That's the main reason for me to use this addon.

When I get bank in, I intend it be a "make sure there are this many in my bag and no more" sort of thing. So, if you set it to 0 it'll shove them all in your bank.

Bank swapping requires more work than buying hough, which is why I've not toyed with that yet.

Awesome, your execution of ideas is always solid, quick and compact. For me personally the bank feature is a must-have though as that's actually where almost all the items I "restock" come from right now.

When you're adding that support in please also consider bi-directional support. I like setting quantities of raw materials as stack-1 and having the overflow drop in the bank without me having to find manage the process.
