Simple Light Data Text v3.1.4
-------------------------

Notice:
I am no longer player WoW, or updating any WoW AddOns I previously maintained. This AddOn is available to anyone to continue development on, but from this point on will remain in it's "current" state.

SLDataText is a modular text-based information tool to relay game-specific information in a clean, streamlined manner that is easy to integrate into most player user interfaces.

SLDT modules perform a variety of minor functions, including informative tooltips and interactive functions. The AddOn was created as an alternative to static information bars such as FuBar and Titan.

Features:
  • Lightweight, text-based design
  • Individual modules can be placed & justified anywhere on screen
  • Modules can hide/show in/out of combat
  • Class-based coloring scheme(s)

Modules Included:
  • Bag Space (w/ Ammo)
  • Clock (w/ Server Time)
  • Gold Tracker
  • Friend List
  • Guild List
  • Latency
  • Framerate
  • Memory Usage
  • Durability
  • Tracking (Gathering Professions, etc)
  • Mail
  • Zone Text
  • Map Coordinates

Additional Modules:
Usage:
/sldt or /sldatatext will open in-game configuration menu. Guild List & Friend List modules utilize Tablet tooltips for mouse click interaction. Gold module includes Gold totals for session & server. Clock includes mouse click interaction to open in-game Alarm & Calendar. Tracking includes mouse click interaction for tracking menu.

Coming Features:
  • Compatibility with LibDataBroker modules
  • Custom modules to display information via scripts (ie. DPS, etc)

Announcements:
Feedback and suggestions are welcome. If commenting regarding bugs or feature requests, please be detailed (ie. if Bug, include error message and/or how to reproduce the bug). Basic comments about bugs or feature requests with little to no information will not be responded to.

Well, now I feel like a moron. I am not sure what I did but now the Shift + Click isn't working for the guild list. I have done the full reinstall of the addon, suggestions?

Edit #1: I've also removed the saved variable file and the shift + click didn't work for the default settings either.

It may be worth noting that the click features of the bag, clock, and the strange popup from the friend list are still working.

Edit #2: Okay, messing around it allows me to shift + click when the tooltip is disabled, but not when the tooltip is showing up, is this intended? Also the same for the Friend List.

Edit: I was just looking around the lua for the bag code and noticed this line;

self.button:SetScript("OnClick", function() OpenAllBags() end)

Would adding a similar line into the Guild.Lua and changing the openallbags to GuildRoster() work?

Edit: Well, looking into the LUA I saw that the guild button will popup the tab if it is clicked while holding Shift. I tried to monkey around with the script to not require the shift key press, but I had no luck. Any ideas on how I could do that?
Shift+Click should do exactly what you're thinking, I added a modifier to it to ensure a misclick doesn't open the social pane. Bags are one thing, and usually on a mod that offers condensed space. The social pane is a bit larger and can get in the way easily.

Tracking changes requires tooltips to be enabled. Tooltips disable through the EnableMouse() API.

@jallakim: Currently you cannot "fade" the text values other than the combat hiding fade, which ultimately hides them and then shows them.

@jasje: The Guild Tooltip follows the sorting of the Social Pane guild screen, so click-sorting in the social guild pane will sort the tooltip in association.

Opacity/fade

Hi,

Is it possible to fade ALL the text on some or all of the modules? (lesser opacity that is)

(Yes, I know you can set whatever color you'd like as hex, but this only changes the custom text color, and not the variable ones)

Open your reputation screen (blizz default rep frame) and make sure that you don't track reputation for any faction.

Yes, that would be the clock module.

U can easy convert any decimal number to hexadecimal or other way around, without knowing anything about it, by using the calculator (e.g. the built in windows calculator: on upper left corner u got "hex" - hexadecimal, "dec" - decimal checkboxes; check 'dec' and write some number, then just switch to hex and the number will be displayed in hex)...
Example: the mage color 105, 204, 240 (or 105/255=0.41, 0.80, 0.94).
105dec = 69hex, 204dec = CChex, 240dec = F0hex
If u put those hex numbers together u get: 69CCF0, witch is the mage color in hexadecimal.

Can you add support for the guild list to be sorted by location, instead of rank?
