hi,
love your addon, but lately I've started to build a new Interface from scratch.

I allways enjoyed the class-color function.

Due to the fact that I ran into the "old shaman Class colour", I would like to request you to put the class colour-box in RGB (dec) instead of hexadecimal, because I am not able to figure out, what the old shaman class colour in hexadecimal is, so rgb would be handy^^.

If you people are unsure what I meant, check here for reference:

As you can see the "old" Shaman Class colur ist not listed@ all; I've got the rgb code for this nice green/blue colour, but as I mentioned, I'm not able to translate that in hex...

You can add the calendar function by yourself.
Go into you SLDataText folder and open "elements.xml", then add this line to it

<Script file="Elements\Calendar.lua" />

Then go download an older version of SLDT (preferably the newest that has the calendar function, can't remember which one it is), and copy just the SLDataText\Elements\Calendar.lua file from the old version of SLDT into the new version's SLDataText\Elements folder. Restart WoW, should be there.

You might get a few UI errors, but nothing bad.

Calendar! I can't see it and there doesn't seem to be a keybind for it. Either a "make calendar visible" option or a calendar datatext would be great - thanks!

Tracking module unclickable.

Not sure if this has already been reported or not but with the tracking module in icon mode, after clicking on it the first time it is no longer clickable. I have it parented to UIParent and there isn't another frame anywhere near it. I have tried multiple strata's and parents and all have the same problem.

EDIT: Did some further poking around and found that this only happens with tooltips disabled.

If you could take a look at Broker Wallet and add that same functionality to SLDataText. Broker Wallet appears to be dead, but I've always loved the convenience of it.

Ok thanks! The issue happened before I redownloaded. Which.. is why I redownloaded XD But I will wipe the saved variables. Thanks again!

Now when I log out and log in it won't save my settings and everything jumps back to the default. Nothing I can think of happened before this all started happening. I did go into an instanced quest chain? But that was all. I created a new character and attempted to copy a profile.. and it didn't work. That's all I can think of as far as what I was doing before all the messups.
Sounds like you were possibly using a version with conflicting saved variables as the current version you just downloaded. Over the course of updating SLDT, I've left notes on the top of the description if an upcoming version will require a saved variables wipe (ie. remove the WTF file named SLDataText). Not removing them can cause all kinds of issues as modules and the core look for settings that don't exist.

Hey there, SL Data Text worked perfectly fine for me up until this morning. I haven't downloaded any new addons and actually redownloaded SL Data Text. Still having the same issue. Now when I log out and log in it won't save my settings and everything jumps back to the default. Nothing I can think of happened before this all started happening. I did go into an instanced quest chain? But that was all. I created a new character and attempted to copy a profile.. and it didn't work. That's all I can think of as far as what I was doing before all the messups.

I'll look into this. It's "suppose" to clear the saved variables entirely for all your characters with that reset option, and then as you log in your characters...repopulate the gold data per character.

I'll also look into the error, thanks for the heads up.

Here's my list of requests for the next version:

- Ticks to show who is in your group in GuildList and FriendList
- FriendsList syncing between characters
- Ability to switch on/off the text shadow/outline on an individual module basis
- Ability to set the text colour on an individual module basis
- Ability to autohide coordinates when in an instance or other place where coordinates don't exist
- An option to show the Memory module tooltip on the Latency and/or Framerate modules as well (I want the tooltip but don't need the actual text displayed)
- Ability to edit the text the Mail module outputs

I realize some of the above can be handled by a broker display addon after the rewrite, but I'm really hoping that they will be possible without too.
