Description:

CooldownToGo displays the cooldown on the last action/spell/item you tried to use (and failed due to it being on cooldown). The display consists of the icon of the action and a countdown showing the cooldown time remaining. The display fades after a configurable period, and it pops up again when the cooldown is (almost) finished.

Options:

/cdtg config
Open the config GUI.

/cdtg locked
Toggle the locked state of display frame.
While unlocked, you can drag it to a position you like with the left mouse button and open its config menu by right-clicking on the frame. The frame doesn't fade out in this state!
While it is locked, you can click-thru the display.

/cdtg holdTime
Sets how long the display should be held on the screen. After this time elapses, the display begins to fade.

/cdtg fadeTime
Sets how fast the display should fade.

/cdtg readyTime
Set how early the display should re-pop before the cooldown is finished.

/cdtg gracePeriod
Set a delay after the ability activation before the cooldown display is not activated (usefule for button-smashers)

/cdtg color
Set the color of the display text.

/cdtg font
Set the font of the display text. If you don't have SharedMedia installed, you can only "choose" the default font.

/cdtg fontOutline
Set the outline style for the font of the display text.

/cdtg fontSize
Sets the font size of the display text.

/cdtg strata
Set the frame strata of the display frame.

/cdtg ignore <spell link, item link or petbar:index>
Add the spell/item/petbar slot to the ignore list.

/cdtg remove <spell link, item link or petbar:index>
Remove the spell/item/petbar slot from the ignore list.

/cdtg profiles
Manage profiles.

Install instructions:

After installing, CooldownToGo will be enabled by default, and unlocked, so you'll see a semi-transparent rectangle in the center of your UI that you can drag to a position you like. After finding a good place for it you should lock the frame with /cdtg locked, so that it won't eat your mouse clicks (note: the display won't fade if the frame is not locked).

This change log is outdated. See the auto-generated logs on Curse for recent changes.

Hello,

No bars, just the icon of the last failed cooldown and a countdown (for some seconds, then it fades). There are plenty of cooldown mods that do bars or modify the action buttons. This one is a lot simpler, basically, it just tells you how long you should suspend your button-smashing on that Counter Spell or whatever you try to cast ASAP

About the Ace3 usage: it makes the db handling and the config much easier. Without Ace3 I think I wouldn't have done the profiles stuff and the config GUI at all The core of the addon is dead simple though.

Yes thats right, it takes around 33-40kb for me, without the ACE3 Libs, maybe i will get some other good ACE3 stuff to have an advantage of it. With Libs it takes for me around 500kb.

About the Sound, just take Jim Cooldown Pulse Sound

And i dont think that i would be possible to do this Addon without such a lib, right? But, for me, i replaced Jims Cooldown Pulse, the option to show The Cooldown on the Screen if you use a Spell which has CD, thats great. A request please: Add an Option to add Sound Notify, like Jims Cooldown Pulse has. greets and thanks.
