Panda is a simple mod designed (initially) to speed up mass-disenchanting. This functionality was expanded to include prospecting, gem cutting, milling, glyphs, flasks, elixirs, and quick viewing of AuctioneerAdvanced prices.

To access the panda panel use /panda or the LDB launcher.

WONT DO MILLING

HEY, ok this sucks big time. I downloaded the newest panda through wowmatrix and on the left when i did /panda i only get enchanting options. Nothing else. No milling either..what i need the most. No tabs on the right either as i was told there should be. What is goin on?

This. I like the concept of Panda, had it lying around on my two enchanters for a long time, but never really used it, since the window simply closes after disenchanting. The window + DE loot window may be fitting into a larger resolution display, but on 1024x768, it just doesn't work.

Is there a way to add an ignore or protect options on the DE items? With Duel speccing I plan on having a couple of different soulbound items in my bag, but when I go through dungeons I still want to de the soulbound items I just got. For example, I have trinkets that get thrown into the mix of other things I just got. I don't want to accidently de those trinkets. I would prefer that option over the Soulbound check box you have now. --I hope this is making sense--

Closes after DEing

I might be misunderstanding the intent of this mod, but i was hoping it would simply allow me to DE quickly.

I find myself DEing tons of things. This is my problem with the Addon

I open it, click the item i want to de. It DEs but then auto loots it and closes the addon window. So, instead of speeding it up, i actually slows it down as now i need to open panda everytime i want to DE something... Am i using this incorrectly?

It is not an outright replacement, no. You'll notice there are a LOT of recipies missing. It started as a DE/Prospecting addon, but evolved to cover *most* of my needs when cutting gems. From there I added glyphs and enchants and pots as well because it was fairly trivial to do. I never find myself churning out items for other trades, so I never made panels for them.

Tabs could work, but again that'd be a decent chunk of code to pull off. We'll see.

When you put it that way it makes a lot more sense to me. I guess I misunderstood the point of the add-on and was thinking it to be a trade skill window replacement.

I would still like to see a sexier UI for it and still would like better organization of the recipes. Maybe you could try using a single tab for the trade skill then have a dropdown menu for the subcategories.

This is a great idea for an add-on and has a lot of potential. But, currently needs a lot of work before I would consider it for my Interface.

Problems that I have with this add-on go as followed.

The navigation of the UI is kind of broken. It doesn’t show all the categories on the side. It could use a scroll bar so that we know there is more there to be seen. I just happened to find out there was more listed there by scrolling my mouse wheel while over top the categories list.

It needs proper categories. Instead of having 5+ categories for each trade skill, have 1 category for each one then have subcategories.

A text list of all the recipes would be handy. Having a mass of icons to look through for what I want to make is just painful.

The data import from auctioneer so that it displays the value of what you are making is redundant. By default auctioneer will tell you this information by hovering over the icon of the item.

If some of these things could be corrected I would consider re installing this add-on but in its current state it doesn’t make my cut.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for updates and I really hope to see a user interface update soon.
