Better Inbox Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

BetterInbox replaces the default paging Blizzard inbox with a scrollable inbox with some extra features.

- Summary of invoices, attachments and gold at the top.
- Dropdown embedded to select what to open, all mail, all items, all gold.
- Select certain mails via a checkbox and open the selected mails, items or gold

The open all feature might still have some quircks with battleground tokens you can't pick up.

See the screenshot for an example of the attachment summary and looks.

Yea, I'm currently using only BetterInbox exclusively, yet it still happens. I'm not sure how to definitively determine if there is a conflicting mod or not. Since the problem is random at best, and a simple /logout and then re-logging in (not changing anything) fixes the problem, I don't see a way to determine if there is a conflict or not.

When I log in for the first time, I simply log out and log back in now, although I'm okay with doing that now, I might need to seek an alternative. It's not your own fault as it's not a reproducible error, if you're not able to reproduce it how can you fix it. I really love this mod too - hope we can figure something out.

I have not been able to reproduce this. Did you try with only BetterInbox? It could be some conflicting addon.

When this happens, I simply log out and back in and then it works. I can't seem to figure out any consistency to when it happens and when it doesn't happen.

You can disable this addon and reload the UI." There's no errors accompanying it, only that.

Once I go into ..\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<username>\<server name>\<character name>\SavedVariables and erase the postal variables then log back in Better Inbox works fine. I'll post on Postal's site as well - I'm not sure who's causing the problem - just wanted to let you know.

vpr A Theradrim Guardian Forum posts: 62 File comments: 272 Uploads: 0	Have a strange problem - one day I did a /reloadUI because of changing some addons and when I got back I had mail, so I checked it, but the mailbox (Better Inbox) screen was...messed up. I could see the check boxes, I could see the boarders of where buttons should be, but nothing was listed. I couldn't do anything. I tried removing the addon and redownloading it but it would not work. So I downloaded Postal (a similar addon that I don't like as much) and it worked fine. Now the weird part is if I enable both Better inbox and postal at the same time, then better inbox fuctions as normal, but w/ postal's buttons overlayed (and intruding) on BI's interface. Confused, I decided to look in saved variables and erase anything BI related, but couldn't find anything... Any ideas?

This is an issue with the blizzard mail icon. I intend to fix the tooltip on the mail icon somewhat and update it as well from my addon. Not sure when I will have the time or the PC to do that though.
