Afterlife Crowd Control


Whats this addon do?
Afterlife Crowd Control is a World of Warcraft addon designed to monitor your crowd controls in and outside a party, and your party/raid members assigned target crowd controls. This is an invaluable addon for raid leaders and tanks who need to keep track of the many possible crowd control targets in a party or raid, for example, as a tank you can see which target will expire first allowing you to be there ready to pick the target up.


Features

  • List all the controlled targets in your party or raid, including the person who controlled the target.
  • 3D target frame for your own personal crowd control including time remaining.
  • Move/resiz Timer bars showing party/raid controlled targets and their durations.
  • Visual / Audio warnings when your personal crowd controlled target breaks.
  • Batman style popup when your target breaks.
  • Announce to your party or raid when your you apply and renew your crowd controls, and when your target breaks.
  • Announce to your party or raid the last 15 seconds remaining on your controlled target.
  • Announce when you interrupt a cast.
  • Diminish Returns support for PvP and Arena
  • Tank helpers such as automatically removing Salvation - this feature is activated by typing /afterlife tank from the chat window.

Hunters - please note
For hunters, target the mob you intend to trap before placing down/throwing your trap - this will assign your 3D target. If you do not select your target first before using the trap then you will not see the 3D target frame, but the timers will perform normally and any break alerts will work as normal. Instructions
For options, type /afterlife in game

Fixed a bug when a spell misses, the raid target on the mob was not correctly identified.

Latest version now supports the Succubus Seduction ability. You will need to summon the pet at least once for the addon to learn the details of your pet and from then on it will detect Seduction.

FYI: Support is now offered on our forums at www.softrix.co.uk/forum where users of the addon can offer suggestions, report bugs or make feature requests.

I'll get that included for the next update. I did promise a few fellow warlocks I'd include this support but it totally slipped my mind.

As i explained in the email I find this very odd since Afterlife checks by the mobs GUID number which is unique and increases each time the mob respawns.

As you said in your email that it happened in SL and you couldnt reproduce it then I'll try and reproduce it here but like I stated before its a very odd one since the addon doesnt check by mob name.

Regarding the timer on your screen, i'll add an option to remove the whole interface and not just the 3d model.

incorrect announces

After sleeping a mob and someone attacks a mob of the same name as the mob I had sheeped ; Afterlife Crowd Monitor announces that my sheep had been broke which is incorrect and my mob is still sheeped.
Note: this seemed to only happon in Heroic Shadow Labyrinth. Unsure why it happened and have only ran Heroic Shadow Labyrinth once since installing Afterlife Crowd Monitor...works fine elsewhere.

Further to my last post ive had confirmation back from the author of Natur which reads:

"There's errors with GTB since i have modified it a lot for Natur's Unfortuantly i killed beta 3 which had a fix for it so I could do a full WotLK release. Until then i recommend people just disable Natur's if they are running both mods."

The bar texture is setup on line 172 in Core.lua:
