Afterlife Crowd Control is a World of Warcraft addon designed to monitor yours and your party or raid members crowd control spells and warrior taunts giving you and your party warnings that your target has broken, or a warning at 10 and 5 seconds before break happens. Furthermore, this addon will also tell the party who broke your targets crowd control spell so theres no more comments like "it wasnt me who broke it".

All the usual features are included in this version such as the 3d target model, popup warning graphic and UI flash which has made this addon popular. Some of the major differences in this version are multi-target support, timer bars for your party members and many more.

[FEATURES]

Full timers for you and your parties crowd control spells.
Diminish Returns support.
3d Target + Timer
Moveable Timer bar frame
UI Flash warnings on break and target death
Warning Sounds.
Popup warning batman style animation.
Announce to party or raid when your spell breaks
Announce to party or raid the last 10 and 5 seconds remaining.
Timers show casters name allowing raid leaders to monitor his crowd controlled mobs and remind his team to renew their targets.
Announce when you interrupt a cast.
For those who loved my Natur Enemy Castbar (currently being repaired) and also use Afterlife in PvP I've added the Unreal sounds to Afterlife (Default OFF) and it will play those fun sounds when you get a killing blow on a player - support is also added so this can be used while questing and to change the famous male sounds from Male to Female.

[TRANSLATORS]

Translators are required, please open the Local.lua file and translate.

Please include your name in the comments at the top of the file so that you can be correctly credited for your work.

[INSTRUCTIONS]

Install the addon in the usual way then access the options screen using /afterife in game.

To ignore a player so you dont announce to the party or raid when he/she breaks it (i.e. the main tank) simply select the player so he is targetted then type /afterlife ignore. To remove the player, make sure hes selected and type /afterlife unignore.

To list all those who are in your ignore list type /afterlife showignored.

It has somekind of problem with naturalcombat options it resets naturalcombat addon and gives like 7 errors with different number naturaloptions.lua:***: and call method 'Get hight, bars ect.

Any idea?

Natur or the error isnt any part of the addon im afraid. Naturaloptions.lua isnt a part of the Afterlife Addon. Try to disable the new Afterlife addon to see if these two addons conflict. If the error goes when my addon is disabled then theres a issue with both being installed on the same machine.

Please provide details of the addon causing the error so that i can replicate the error here.

Is this causing ure ACC addon or NaturalCombat has he problem and has conflic with ACC ? So i know if i need to write to NaturalCombat crators to help little coz i see ure addon is great its work great when NC istn on.

Turn off Afterlife, then try Natur by itself to see if the error is there. It looks like its a Natur problem to be honest but trying it alone will determine if the two addons are conflicting.

Ok thank you. I will load up Natur on my system and take a look at this issue. I will post information when i determine the problem. Thank you alot for letting me know.

I will determine if its mine causing the problem or Natur, either way i'll work with the author of Natur if it turns out to be their code.

Further to my last reply I have uploaded build r4898 which corrects the problem you reported regarding Natur and Afterlife.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for bringing this problem to my attention and allowing me to make this addon better.

When I run ACC with either enabled (didn't try with neither), I get an error in GTB.lua saying it can't do something (forget exact error) with local group on line 135 (ish)... I dunno what's going wrong :-/. Held up a heroic SV group i was tanking for trying to manually rename all of the references to "group" and "group.whatever" to "groupp" to not interfere with the natur/necb "group", which didn't work (heh), so any input you can give me on how to fix that issue would be shaweet.

Im already aware of this issue which has already been fixed in the test version used by my guild. Watch out for r4.9.9.8 which will be released later today.

It would appear that it still doesn't. To be perfectly honest, and you can say to me, "don't bother using the addon in that case!", I feel that without this functionality the addon is somewhat lacking. Please look into it. I really like the way the addon has been done, and for simple click and ./cast Sheep play, it works really well. But tbh, who out there doesn't use a focus sheep/shackle/sleep etc macro these days? If you aren't, you really ought to. Same with this addon. Apart from that. Nice stuff! P.S: I was able to make a similar focus sheep timer without all the bells and whistles by using a certain unitframes addon, and enlarging the debuff icon and timer text on the focus frame. The timer will refresh every time a shackle/sheep is applied, and there is no need to manually click and resheep the target. So the functionality is there in the game. __________________

Its not something I would say to anyone who has valid comments about the addon.

I will be adding focusing support shortly - basically i have a list of stuff which i have received by users of the addon such as raid timers, addon to addon communication and many more.

The latest release seen the introduction of the raid/party timers and multi-target support. Furthermore, these were considered priority not only for my guild but because of the number of requests for this feature i received by email.

I have a long list of features planned for the future and focussed targets is one of them.

Fixed in 5.0.9.8. It was a mistake on my part and I basically undone changes made previously when i fixed the problem that LastBreath reported.

Anyway, all sorted and shouldnt cause anymore problems.
