    BasicMinimap is a basic solution to a clean, square minimap.

    Current feature set:
    • Moving
    • Scaling
    • Hiding blizz buttons
    • Zooming with mouse wheel & Auto zoom-out
    • Square or circular minimap
    • Strata selection
    • Selecting which mouseclick opens which menu (tracking/calendar)
    • Auto showing the calendar button when invites arrive
    • Border and border color selection with class color support

    Default buttons, changeable in GUI:
    • LeftClick: Ping Position
    • RightClick: Toggle Calendar
    • MiddleClick: Toggle Tracking

    Edit: Hmm, it seems the addon I downloaded here is not to date. I updated with WAU and it works fine

    Just tried it again to make sure, and it is not updated here (22 june 2008)

    I've noticed that if I set this to round, the square border stays in place and I can't seem to get rid of it... nor can I get it to change to round. Is this a known issue? Thanks!

    Nice mod but I lose the tracker icon until I zone.. then it comes back.. but it doesn't have anything inside it. Very odd looking.

    Fixed in v1.3 for some reason it was re-showing. You can middle-click the map to open the tracking menu.

    This is a great addon except I dont have a middle click, this is fine for all my characters except the one that does herbalism and fishing. Any other way for me to get the tracking button up? Thanks

    Same as previous comment. As hunter I need the tracking button there at all times. And I play with a touch pad not a mouse so would help if this was a feature I could turn on or off. I reverted to the older version until I can find a way to solve this.

    Open BasicMinimap.lua in notepad and scroll to the bottom and change the line...

    elseif btn == "MiddleButton" then

    to...

    elseif btn == "LeftButton" then

    This will swap the left and middle buttons around. Thus ping is changed to middle button and tracking to left button.

    Nice changes <3 this minimap

    The only thing that annoys me a little bit (very very tiny little minimum annoyance lol) is that if I chance the border colour, it changes after OK is pressed, but I like it when I see it right away. It makes playing around easier.
    But more annoying is it when I change border thickness the border colour goes back the grey(ish).. And I have to click the colour button and OK again in order to get it back to the colour I wanted

    Color changes live for me as I move the slider, I can see the border color changing before I click ok, have you tried testing the latest version?

    I will release 1.41 momentarily to fix that border bug, I was going to fix it in 1.4 and forgot, thanks for reminding me.

    v1.41 prevents the border color from changing when changing the border size, this was meant to be fixed in v1.4 :x
