Of particular note to Druids... the bottom right action bar is no longer used as a

things now. If you prefer to have a separate, dedicated, bar you can use for your
Boomkin, you can use the command '/nui bar boomkin' to toggle this behavior on/off.

The default for the player, target, player's pet and vehicle is the maximum number of
auras that can exist on a unit: 40 -- this aura list always begins with any temporary
weapon buffs the player has and then is followed by the remaining auras starting with
those that will expire soonest... setting '/nui maxauras 10' would limit the display
the eight to ten auras that will expire soonest based on how many weapon enchants the
player has.

* Added a new slash command '/nui mapcoords' to toggle display of the world map player
and cursor map coordinates on an off. The default setting is on.

* Added a cooldown bar with spell ready message alerts and spell ready sounds to the
HUD... this new bar shows spells that are currently on cooldown with a timer. When

anyone else not able to load this i see no addons in side just lua folders
ect ect like art tools units also no WTF folder

also how do i make the fonts in the other areas of ui bigger

The main player, pet, target and target of target units do not have health and mana bars because those values are in the HUD. The only health/mana bars you will see in that area are for your pet's target and the target of your target's target.

The idea behind this UI is to put the pertinent combat information in the center of the display where the action is happening rather than having to move your eyes all over the screen to see what's happening. So... your health, your pet's health, the target's health, etc. are all center screen in the HUD.

As far as fonts. the only font you can change, at present, is the chat frame/combat log. "/nui fontsize {n}" will set that font for you. The default, if I remember right, is "/nui fontsize 12" -- use a larger number for large text in the chat frame. The font size on the buttons, buffs/debuffs, etc. is fixed based on the size of the button.

There is no WTF because nUI is *NOT* a collection of other UI's that have been laid out to suit my taste. This is 100% custom standalone code all written to work together seamlessly.

Okay -- v0.1.8 is out and should fix ALL taint issues related to action bars, etc. Rogues, Druids, Warriors, etc. should all be able to navigate their action bars without error. Likewise, the taint on Kara's Chess event is fixed, as well.

For the moment, out of mana and out of range do not work on the main action bar. I'll get that fixed in the next update.

Buttons not in the button bag

Logging in characters and trying this out. Looking good so far. Bit of a struggle to get used to the HUD though

Two addons so far not being managed in the button bag are Enchantrix and Baud Gear. I'll add more if I find some.

When coming out of stealth i don't see the "out of stealth bar" ie bar 1, any fix for this.

This is a known WoW bug... it's a resource leak in the game engine and it causes textures to be lost when switching in and out of windowed mode. I have been trying to find a solution to the problem and so far no luck. I get no in-game notification when you have switched from Windowed mode to Non-windowed or visa-versa so I get no opportunity to try and rebuild the lost textures.

The only solution I'm afraid, at present, is a "/nui rl" or to not switch modes if you don't have to.

In the meantime, if anyone knows a fix to this bug, I'm all ears (eyes).


I'm curious... there have been several people who have commented on this bug. Why would you switch in and out of windowed mode during normal game play? I can see tabbing out to do something and tabbing back in if you are not in windowed mode, but why actually switch modes?

Please make sure you have 0.1.8 installed. That bug was fixed in that update.
