My new interface can be found here: Zork UI
INTRO
Hi there. This is my Diablo themed interface for World of Warcraft, called Roth UI. Enjoy.
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me.
Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
INSTALLATION GUIDE
If you are a first time Roth UI user you may want to check the tutorial video from Tachi showing the installation process.
How To Install and Configure Roth UI
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder.
  2. Backup your "Interface" folder. (Copy it somewhere save!)
  3. Now: Delete the "Interface" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  4. Download Roth UI and save the ZIP-file to your Desktop.
  5. The ZIP-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder. Copy both folders into your World of Warcraft folder.
  6. Start World of Warcraft. (If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.)
  7. Before logging in make sure all the addons are activated correctly.
  8. Login and have fun playing!

FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!
  1. Do not use any auto updater for addons in this compilation, they can mess stuff up.
  2. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  3. Only want to change the scale of the bottom bar panel and the actionbars? Read this FAQ
  4. How to change / disable the fluid orb animation system? Type in /diablo config
  5. How to move frames??? Read this FAQ
  6. Colors inverted?! Read this FAQ
  7. Want to edit the actionbars? Look at rActionBarStyler/config.lua and read the info page.
  8. Other questions? Try: Roth UI FAQ
  9. Want to edit unitframes? Look at oUF_Diablo/config.lua and read the info page.

ORB CONFIG
When patch 5.2 hit the live servers a new version of oUF_Diablo was applied. Large parts of oUF_Diablo got rewritten, that includes large parts of the config.lua containing the orb animation settings. Most of those settings can then be changed via ingame config. The config can be accessed via

/diablo config

I do move the minimap slightly with each update you release since I use a databroker bar (Ninjapanel) at the top which slightly covers buffs, partyframes and minimap.
But it's a 10sec update each time so it's not a big deal. Moving the party/raid frames will have a lot bigger impact since it's stuff you really need to do ingame. Then again, if it's not too much work its always nice to have I guess.

Two other things that crossed my mind and just see these as suggestions to add along the way:
- Readycheck status. Just as part of the raid and party frames
- Debuff check. I'm not sure how it would be done, but it seems it can be done with aurawatch as you've done with the own health orb. Colour the background of the raid frames green (poison), orange (curse), purple (disease), blue(magic) and red (unremovable) or something like that depending on the type.

Feel free to ignore me but once I get started thinking I'm hard to stop :-P

Dawn, already did that.

I'm done with the change. Have to raid now. Writing documentation later.

New config in oUF_D3Orbs.lua and layout.lua of oUF_D3OrbsRaid
Code:
  -- shall frames be moved
  -- set this to 0 to reset all frame positions
  local allow_frame_movement = 0

  -- set this to 1 after you have moved everything in place
  -- THIS IS IMPORTANT because it will deactivate the mouse clickablity on that frame.
  local lock_all_frames = 1
For developers. This is the function I am using:
Code:
  local function make_me_movable(f)
    if allow_frame_movement == 0 then
      f:IsUserPlaced(false)
    else
      f:SetMovable(true)
      f:SetUserPlaced(true)
      if lock_all_frames == 0 then
        f:EnableMouse(true)
        f:RegisterForDrag("LeftButton","RightButton")
        f:SetScript("OnDragStart", function(self) if IsAltKeyDown() and IsShiftKeyDown() then self:StartMoving() end end)
        f:SetScript("OnDragStop", function(self) self:StopMovingOrSizing() end)
      end
    end
  end
Party moved
http://img5.abload.de/img/wowscrnsho...09_18048cg.jpg

Raid moved
http://img5.abload.de/img/wowscrnsho...09_181lj4q.jpg

Both raid and party have a so called "dragframe". The party and raidheaders anchor that specific dragframe instead of UIParent.

Everything is movable.

Actionbars are moveable already and with jEXP2 even the EXP bar is movable.

Asking myself if I should make the minimap movable aswell...hmmm.

Castbars are a problem though. Hard to move frames that are not there...

Looks interesting that way :-)
Will, you like above make all parts movable or just the party/raid frame?

As for Dawn comment, I sign on that. Just to avoid unintended movements.

I would highly recommend using

Code:
if IsAltKeyDown() and IsControlKeyDown()
instead of just
Code:
if IsAltKeyDown()
simply because a lot of people use key bindings or clique involving the Alt key and thus it's much likely you are moving things by accident. Btw, control is also better than shift, since alt + shift switches window's language. I would use this even with a fail-safe option.

As I said its not that hard to do.

http://img5.abload.de/img/wowscrnsho...09_1731m76.jpg

I will leave the party at the way that those frames can be moves on their own.
You could even only touch the FIRST (read first!) partyframe. This will reset the anchor of the first frame, but since every else are parented to the first they will follow.

Same goes for focus and target. If you only move your target first then the tot will follow automaticially. It will only get a position on its own if you touch it.

There is a "lock all" and "reset all" config to make it fail-safe.

Very nice indeed. Can't wait.

But all in all its pretty much handleable since all we have to do is to anchor the first header of the raid and the header of the party to specific holder frames that will get the move functionality. Thanks to parenting all other frames will move with them.

I'm currently not sure if I am going to use that specific module. A small function will do the same.

This is basically everything we need:
Code:
local function make_me_movable(f,movemenot)
  if movemenot then
    f:IsUserPlaced(false)
  else
    f:SetMovable(true)
    f:SetUserPlaced(true)
    f:EnableMouse(true)
    f:RegisterForDrag("LeftButton")
    f:SetScript("OnDragStart", function(self) if IsAltKeyDown() then self:StartMoving() end end)
    f:SetScript("OnDragStop", function(self) self:StopMovingOrSizing() end)
  end
end
You only need a frame that has a global name (important!) and thats it.

I will have implemented/tested it until Sunday.

Hey Zork,

You know that I and a few others have been nagging about being able to move around the party and raid frames.

I've found an addon that allows you to do that for you, but there's one row that must be entered into your lua code for it to work.

So, could it be possible for you to add support for it?

The addon is found here.

I've made it work for me in party mode (haven't even tested it in raid yet) and it works quite well, although the way that at least I found you move each party member by itself and not as a group (which would be the desired way), but I guess that's how you have designed it.

EDIT: It works with raid as well, but once again per unit frame. Is there a way to create a way to anchor the frames to eachother?

Thankz zork, Ive found the section you mentioned and had allready been fiddling a bit with it. But Im afraid I have only a vague grasp of lua code. All alterations I´ve do so far is simply based on guesswork from words that provide decent clues in the code, plus some trial and error.

table.insert(raid, oUF:Spawn("header", "oUF_Raid"..i))
if i == 1 then

Dont understand what the line does at all so I wouldnt know how to start trial and error tampering with it.

raid[i]:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", UIParent, "TOPLEFT", 20, -20)
else
raid[i]:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", raid[i-1], "TOPRIGHT", 5, 0)
end

Tried replacing TOPLEFT with BOTTOMLEFT but that didnt work. The position numbers I have figured out so I can move all of the frames around and the offset numbers I understand. But I cant for the life of me figure out what line would make them spawn horizontally and growing upwards instead.

raid[i]:SetManyAttributes("showRaid", true, "yOffset", -5, "groupFilter", i)

I did try replacing "yoffset" with "xoffset" but all that seemed to do was eliminate the x-axis offset of the frames. I see the letter "i" repeated throughout this section. Does this somehow controll the orientation they spawn in? Sorry to keep buggering about this but Im jsut at a total loss here.

@Katheriuh
No, since the Blizzard bars put the vehicle icons in the first bar, not the third.
But you could move the first bar to the top and use bindings on this instead.

@BlueRageBar
oUF allows latency. Check other layouts how they do it and edit the castbar function on oUF_D3Orbs.lua accordingly.

@kohl
The DK runes are handled in oUF_D3Orbs.lua
The DK stancebar can be moved with Shift+Mouse, see http://www.wowinterface.com/download...BarStyler.html

@Vargtass
There is a config in oUF_D3Orbs.lua called "show_party_in_raid". Set it accordingly.
You can edit how the raidframe will get spawned.
See
Code:
    table.insert(raid, oUF:Spawn("header", "oUF_Raid"..i))
    if i == 1 then
      raid[i]:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", UIParent, "TOPLEFT", 20, -20)
    else
      raid[i]:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", raid[i-1], "TOPRIGHT", 5, 0)
    end
    raid[i]:SetManyAttributes("showRaid", true, "yOffset", -5, "groupFilter", i)
Play around with the setpoints and don't use yOffset in the attributes, you want xOffset since you want a horizontal layout.

@DOLLAR
loltip is not part of this compilation for some time now, you would have no issues if you would have followed the install instructions.

Is there a way to make the top bar the bar that shows vehicle skills? For example, when I'm in the ToC 5 man instance, I would like for the top bar to be the vehicle bar since I have my keys bound there. Any help would be appreciated.

Swing Timer and Latency

Is there anyway to add a Latency sensor into the cast bars including in this compilation?

Also, I'm looking to add in a swing timer, and I don't want to have to download quartz and mess with extra cast bars, anybody have any suggestions?
