IMPORTANT

My new interface can be found here: Zork UI
INTRO
Hi there. This is my Diablo themed interface for World of Warcraft, called Roth UI. Enjoy.
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me.
Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
INSTALLATION GUIDE
If you are a first time Roth UI user you may want to check the tutorial video from Tachi showing the installation process.
How To Install and Configure Roth UI
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder.
  2. Backup your "Interface" folder. (Copy it somewhere save!)
  3. Now: Delete the "Interface" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  4. Download Roth UI and save the ZIP-file to your Desktop.
  5. The ZIP-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder. Copy both folders into your World of Warcraft folder.
  6. Start World of Warcraft. (If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.)
  7. Before logging in make sure all the addons are activated correctly.
  8. Login and have fun playing!

FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!
  1. Do not use any auto updater for addons in this compilation, they can mess stuff up.
  2. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  3. Only want to change the scale of the bottom bar panel and the actionbars? Read this FAQ
  4. How to change / disable the fluid orb animation system? Type in /diablo config
  5. How to move frames??? Read this FAQ
  6. Colors inverted?! Read this FAQ
  7. Want to edit the actionbars? Look at rActionBarStyler/config.lua and read the info page.
  8. Other questions? Try: Roth UI FAQ
  9. Want to edit unitframes? Look at oUF_Diablo/config.lua and read the info page.

ORB CONFIG
When patch 5.2 hit the live servers a new version of oUF_Diablo was applied. Large parts of oUF_Diablo got rewritten, that includes large parts of the config.lua containing the orb animation settings. Most of those settings can then be changed via ingame config. The config can be accessed via

/diablo config

      self.Portrait = CreateFrame("PlayerModel", nil, self.Portrait_bgf)
      self.Portrait:SetPoint("TOPLEFT",self.Portrait_bgf,"TOPLEFT",4,-4)
      self.Portrait:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",self.Portrait_bgf,"BOTTOMRIGHT",-4,4)

      self.Portrait_glossf = CreateFrame("Frame",nil,self.Portrait)
      self.Portrait_glossf:SetAllPoints(self.Portrait_bgf)
add this:
Code:
else
      self.Portrait = self.Portrait_bgf:CreateTexture(nil, "BORDER")
      self.Portrait:SetPoint("TOPLEFT",self.Portrait_bgf,"TOPLEFT",2,-2)
      self.Portrait:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",self.Portrait_bgf,"BOTTOMRIGHT",-2,2)

      self.Portrait_glossf = CreateFrame("Frame",nil,self.Portrait_bgf)
      self.Portrait_glossf:SetAllPoints(self.Portrait_bgf)
BEFORE the 'end', so in the end you'll have a structure in the form of
Code:
if ....
<some code>
else
<some  more code>
end
And that -should- give you 2D portraits. I haven't tested it so I don't know for sure :P

Hey as I said once b4 new to this stuff, mind posting the code for the 2D version and where to put it?

Thanks

Edit: The 3D seem to mess up sometimes not displaying a image. And sometimes it will display a target with the wrong image. I think its dude to a target having the same name but diff gender

Love the addon just one thing I noticed in sTooltip and in
sUmziehOhMat ... gear swapping mod from Shantalya some of one file and pretty much all of sumzieohmat was in German.... I clicked on the crossed swords on the upper left of the minimap and the box came up in German. lol Imagine my surprise. Is there an english version??

You can apply filters to Buffs and Debuffs in oUF. haste provides a small documentation. Read the oUF/aura.lua for this. In oUF_D3Orbs I use this function to manage the debuffs called d3o2_createDebuffs. The function starts at line 483 in the code.

In the documentation oUF you will read about:
onlyShowPlayer: Only display icons casted by the player. (Default: nil)

If you check my function you will find this entry at line 519:
self.Debuffs.onlyShowPlayer = false

If you set this to true only Debuffs casted by the player would be shown. Got it?
Kewl. And thanx for quick reply! Keep up the awesome work you're doing!

Updating addons included and thus used, manually is not recommended. If its neccessary I will update the package anyway. This may even produce errors. So just stick with the compilation. If you download additional addons, thats a different thing. The package is independent from them, you can update them regularly (Omen, BigWigs etc.)

Zork, some of the addons seem to exist in Curse as well if I remember correctly but the UI package is only in WoW interface. Does it matter whether you download the package or only update the addons in it?

Thanks

EDIT: though i don't know if he only updates some of the addons, doesn't really matter as long as he's happy with his UI

This is why I say that you need to do backup->delete->copy:
Sometimes addons get removed and would stay if you won't delete the folder. That may produce errors. If you need additional stuff just add it in after. Its just easier for the unexperienced users.

Btw...I had no clue that my addons can be updated via Curse client. I have not uploaded them to Curse ever, but maybe they make use of the wowinterface.com database aswell. Using a download manager is easier for those with less computer experience but all you need will always be in this package. If you always want a "zorkified" roth ui use this wowinterface.com download. I do not support any other download actively.

@Aznmeowface
Go to your addon list at the character selection screen (bottom left button). Deactivate evl_Combattext and see if your problem is gone.

Thanks, appreciate the help

Got into a fight with a friend. He updates his UI or the addons in his Roth UI through Curse and we had a fight about that. I tried to say to him that he'd better update the whole package but no

Thanks again!

I'd like to know why you keep pulling addons off from this UI? because of they are useless now or something else?

Sorry again

Less addons -> more performance, even if the increase is small. Use BindPad if you find it hard to bind keys to the default action bars. It binds keys directly to spells, not to action bar slots.

PLS help
Don't try and use Curse Client to update the mods/addons in this UI as they won't be readily identified and require NO update from the Curse Client. Zork, will likely update when it is needed, and help to resolve issues as they're reported.

Also, @ Zork:

I went throught the last 30 pages of comments here (going back to the Dominoes action bar days!) to find some info. I use rFilter2 for disease tracking on my DK, but really have no need to see the debuffs on the target beyond my own (escpecially when in raid). Is there a way to hide the debuffs/debuff frame from target via LUA code in oUf_d3Orbs? If so, mind pointing that out?

Thanx.

What I'm trying to as is that do we need to backup->delete->install from now on every time new version comes out?

Thanks
I'd say yes...and no. There will be changes from time to time and if blizz ever changes things that require an addon to be updated, then likely the code may change. Do like I do: Backup-> Delete-> Install. But, I also keep a separate file with LUA code for rFilter2 and rActionBarStyler on my desktop so I can copy my previous settings from the older version to the new version easily.

Hope that helps a bit.

Well yes, that is what I meant and I am fine with your answer. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt something on my end that could be done to fix it. As long as you acknowledge that I'm happy. I love your UI.
