INTRO

Hi there. This is my Diablo themed interface for World of Warcraft, called Roth UI. Enjoy.
Since more and more leaked downloads of my interface appear on the internet, please remember: There is only one official download of the Roth UI. And that is this one, on wowinterface.com. All other downloads available are leaked and are not officially supported by me.
Only this one is ZORKIFIED!
INSTALLATION GUIDE
If you are a first time Roth UI user you may want to check the tutorial video from Tachi showing the installation process.
How To Install and Configure Roth UI
  1. Open your World of Warcraft folder.
  2. Backup your "Interface" folder. (Copy it somewhere save!)
  3. Now: Delete the "Interface" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
  4. Download Roth UI and save the ZIP-file to your Desktop.
  5. The ZIP-file includes a "Interface" and a "Fonts" folder. Copy both folders into your World of Warcraft folder.
  6. Start World of Warcraft. (If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.)
  7. Before logging in make sure all the addons are activated correctly.
  8. Login and have fun playing!

ORB CONFIG
When patch 5.2 hit the live servers a new version of oUF_Diablo was applied. Large parts of oUF_Diablo got rewritten, that includes large parts of the config.lua containing the orb animation settings. Most of those settings can then be changed via ingame config. The config can be accessed via

/diablo config

FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!
  1. Do not use any auto updater for addons in this compilation, they can mess stuff up.
  2. If you don't like the scaling or something doesn't fit, hit the escape-key while in-game and go to the graphic settings. Now activate the UI-scaling checkbox and move the slider. Hit OK and see what you got. Move it until you like the settings.
    Same goes for the chat. If it doesn't fit just right-click the chat-tab. Unlock the chat and move it around until you feel comfortable.
  3. Only want to change the scale of the bottom bar panel and the actionbars? Read this FAQ
  4. How to change / disable the fluid orb animation system? Type in /diablo config
  5. How to move frames??? Read this FAQ
  6. Colors inverted?! Read this FAQ
  7. Want to edit the actionbars? Look at rActionBarStyler/config.lua and read the info page.

ORB ANIMATION SYSTEM

One problem with that, I'm not using rBottomBarStyler... lol Everything I've changed, I've done so threw the oUF_D3Orbs.lua.

I prefered the look of the D3 UI over the Roth UI, but at the same time, wanted the quickhealth animations the roth orbs had. So I swapped the graphics and moves around hte X,Y's untill i got everything looking right.

How I have it rigged up so far: (The 2 files, "d3_warrior_angel" and "d3_warrior_angel2" are both files used for the fury orb. One is an overlay, the other a background so the orb... goo if you will, will fill up between the two layors.

But from what I've seen, I should be correct in assuming that this only works one time, as I load into the game? It never goes back and rechecks when I shift it seems.

For the scale. Adjust the focusscale variable in the config area of oUF_D3Orbs.lua

Had a quick question, If anyone freqnenting this page would know. Ive recently begun changing this UI via its .lua, with really no prior knowledge of wtf im doing. Ive managed to learn quite a bit about how to edit this crap, and changed the base roth UI to use hte graphics from roths other addon, the D3 bottom bar thingy...

Ive recently also amended my core lua with his newest release, gaining the mob icons on my targeting window. I swapped out the boss skull one with the diablo one, but got to thinking. Is there some sort of tag i could use in the lua, to give rare-elites, players, and other odd ended mob types custom tags?

Edit: I also rigged up a barbarian style fury orb that is active for warrior, rogue, death knight and feral druid. My only problem, it dosent seem to change when i shift forms... Is there any way to do this? Right now if i log in when im in caster form, its a normal mana orb, if i log in while in a feral form, its the fury orb. But when i shift caster, it stays fury...

Btw there is one bug, which should be fixable

When I am in Cat or Bear form, so using Rage or Energy and I Portal to a new zone or a new round of Strand of the Ancients starts for example, and I stay in form, the Energy Circle or Rage Circle will change to mana until I switch out and back in. So just pointing it out, if fixable awesome if not its all good.

Rightclick the chat-tab. Unlock it. Now you can move/size it to whatever you like. To size it move your mouse to the edges. It behaves like the windows in Windows.

My general chat box is above and to the left of the actions bars, where in the pics it shows that it's right next to them. Problem cause the target of target frame blocks the chat.

Also, since I'm a pally, my aura bar is gone, how do i fix this?

Hey Zork,

How would I go about making the Party Frames only show my party members and not myself included? So 4 Players instead of 5.

Also is there any way to make the party frames grow up instead of sideways, so vertical instead of horizontal. Thanks in advance

3d portrait
The 3D portrait sometimes cuts your face. Camera is set to face. Happens sometimes. If it bugs you to much set the portrait style to 2D in the oUF_D3Orbs.lua

duke sounds
delete the duke folder inside evl_combattext

party interface like raid
units get spawned. you need to remove the party spawn in oUF_D3Orbs.lua and add it to the layout.lua of oUF_D3OrbsRaid. Advanced only.

move raid
Search for SetPoint in the layout.lua. Just try/error it out.

First of all: awesome job on your UI - I love it!

I do have some minor issues though I hope someone can help me. Some of them might have been address before, but I can't find the answers in the 159 pages of comments - a FAQ would be nice.

1. PVP icon on Health Orb. I would like to know when I'm flagged for PVP. This has been raised by many others, but it's unclear to me how to enable this.

I am curious as to the possibility of the following if anyone could assist me.

I am interested in removing the current Target/Focus/Target of Target and etc border and replacing it with the border used by Aura's and the tooltip, however I dont think there is a texture currently that would accommodate this, but thought I would ask. Im just trying to streamline this UI a bit more.

If this is possible could someone reference the changes in Lua needed, one example will do for just the target frame. Thanks.
