Description:
Displays players who have pinged the minimap in the chat window.

If you can provide any below marked as "Needed" please read the following:
In your AddOn folder open WhoPinged\Localization and open any file you wish to translate and read the directions at the top. Send the translated locales to Davieboy53@yahoo.com. Include in your message: the language you are translating to and the name you want to be credited as (i.e.: Davie3, David G.).

Bug fixes.

Who Pinged? no longer uses BabbleClass due to recent changes to blizzard API.
Added a new Output option.

Fixed bug where if you weren't near a person who pinged it would print a message just saying nil.

Added a check to check if the person who pinged is visible.
Moved items out of the AddonLogin OnEvent to a new OnEnable function.
Changed the GetClassColor Function to return a value rather then set a global one then use it elsewhere.
Changed the locale files so they can use the CurseForge Localization system.
Fixed bug where regardless of the DisableInBG option the ping message would be displayed in a Battleground.
The Ping Function now only adds the ping to the new Pings table. The printing functionality has now been added to the PrintMessage Function.
Some bits of commented code left in for future implementation.
Toc Interface update for Patch 3.1.

Fixed a bug in embeds.xml where a few libaries were loaded to late or to early that caused errors I've never really noticed.

Added a catcher so it wont throw an error if ClassColor returns nil.

1.2 NOTICE:
Delete any older WhoPinged folders before placing the new version into the addons folder due to file name changes and Ace library changes!!

Removed Ace2 libraries and replaced them with Ace3.

Added an options menu with an option to disable in a battleground and to disable it all

together. Also added an option to display server time or local time when someone pings.

Added German class translation fix in the GetClassColor function (courtesy of Maischter from Curse. Thanks!).

New slashcommands (/whopinged, /wp) now opens the options GUI.

Can you explain what exactly this would be needed for? I'm in the IT field, and the act of 'pinging' to me refers to the sending/receiving of packets to verify network connectivity/functionality. But obviously, this is not the case (judging by some of the comments below). One of the posts below comment about the whole 'pinging of the minimap' business being potentially detrimental in a Battlegrounds setting. If this type of thing happens more in a BG setting, then please forgive my ignorance (as I have no experience in those places; and perhaps this addon should be moved to the PVP/Arena/Battlegrounds section). Thank you

For example: Instead of: Player pinged Player1 pinged Player pinged It would show: Player pinged [2] Player1 pinged You could either set it to a period of say 30 or 60 seconds or give us an option to set that period. When someone pings repeatedly, especially in battleground chat, important tactical messages can get scrolled out of the visible portion of the window, forcing one to scroll back to see any messages; which can be costly in the midst of battle. Hope this suggestion proves useful. Ana p.s. This addon makes it incredibly easy to find out who is pinging, and swiftly kick them before everybody starts complaining.
