FlagRSP2

FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with FlagRSP2 and RSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.

FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns.

If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other AddOns such as flagRSP 0.5.6, flagRSP BC, and ImmersionRP must be disabled to prevent conflicts.

For the record, plain old "unzip" on the command line on a Linux box does show both versions. Not sure why they're both there. You might want to just unzip it, make sure you have the right file, then zip it up again.

It looks like one version has the comments intact. I am not sure what it causing this, but it is being caused by the WoWAce.com packager. Every program I use to extract does not come up with this error.

That is strange and I honestly not able to reproduce it. Try downloading the ZIP file again to be sure it is not corrupted. LibStub.lua should be 1,397 bytes in size and the MD5 check sum is 084f74c94ae937f954766f6c815ef8d6. Sorry, I do not have a CRC32 calculator.

The best thing you can do is set flagRSP2 to use the default Blizzard tool tip. The last time I tried to develop with CowTip/DogTag install it caused glitching mousing over characters. This was on a very powerful work station.

The Rock library has been swapped out in the new release, thankfully!

So, I recently spent some time looking over CowTip (and the DogTag system), but FlagRSP2 doesn't play perfectly nicely with it. Have you ever considered making them compatible? I was thinking that you could even put together some custom DogTags so people can put RP info in their tooltips however they'd like. (In fact, as an experiment and for my own use, I'm seeing if I can do just that. I'll let you know here or via PM if it works.)

I input "{Name} Runetotem," and set the slider to "out of character." Then, I have to sign out of WoW for some reason. When I sign back in, her clan name will have been deleted, and the slider will be on "in character."
