As Berfert said, this isn't fixing the right-click chat tab issue, probably because it's an older one than the listed one.

I get an error on game load about set text color don't seem to effect the windows. and also the setting for player names color don't work either

However, when actually downloading, the file is: Chatter-78789-wotlk.zip

This file does not appear to fix the broken tab menu issue.

Was wondering if Chatter was going to get chat tab hiding support?

I don't have an error catcher installed on my PTR client so I will type this error out.
I have only downloaded the Chatter file linked, 79024-wotlk.
I couldn't right click to get any options up on the channel tabs so I went into the interface menu then addons and clicked Chatter, the following error box popped up.
The only other mods I have installed are X-perl, ItemRack and Recap.

Hi i just put Chatter instead of Prat coz it spends less memory and has same functions.
Mine question is:
1.How to remove the [ ] on the timestamps?
2.How to get the lvl then name like <70:Name> , atm is <Name:lvl>?
3.How to change [W From] to come after the timestamp, atm is like this :
[W From]timestamp i want timestamp [W From],
4.How to make space between timestamp channel and <lvl:Name>
im talking about 1 space not more coz they are all like this atm:

If you think of it, could you insert a way to color unknown names in chats to the chat color? For example, in Trade channel, all the names I haven't moused over are gray, with the rest of the text that default color Blizzard uses. If unknown names could be blended with the rest of the surrounding text color, that would be nice.

I've started useing Chatter and I like it, congrats. I have a feature request and I apologize if it has been asked already. It would be possible to use <key> + mouseover to show item tooltip when hovering on an item link in the chat box? Or at least add the option to add a key to mouseover, kind of Alt+ or Ctrl+.

Overall this mod does "ok" in WotLK, but right-clicking on chat tabs is still broken. Any hopes of having this fixed?

I am running the most recent version of the beta. Chatter comes up just fine, however, the WoW chat settings are not available. If you right click on the chat tab nothing is there. Also the first chat window is not movable or resizable. The combat log window is moveable and resizable. Not so much with the first one. I did verify that the lock chat settings box is NOT checked.

Since the last beta patch (8-1-08), the Chatter options pane is coming up blank. The scrollbar shows, but no options. This happens both when I type /chatter and when I choose Chatter from the Interface/Addons menu.

I am using the latest build you linked in the beta forums (that fixed the right-click chat tab menu issue).

I wasn't speaking about the WoWAce live version in trunk (which is downloadable with WAU for example); the working version is in the branches.

I tried both versions on live beta, but none of them working. The version on WoWAce giving me errors all the time, so it's useless. The version on WoWI gives errors only when i try to open the config window.

I have one request, don't know if this has been changed or not in the latest version.

Right now, Chatter has the "highlight" option that allows you to select certain words to be emphasized in chat. This is perfect, though I have noticed that while my own character name is in the >NAME< non of my other selected words are showing up like that. I have other character names selected, so maybe it's the classcolor feature overriding the highlight feature, when it should be the other way around.

ANYWAY! That's not what I was going to say but.. enh.. SO! Right now you can't select/deselect any channels for the highlight to monitor. This mod is great for RPers, but since I can't tell it to ignore the FlagRSP channel, i'm getting spammed when the information is pushed across the channel. Any chance of getting a way to have the highlighting ignore certain channels?
