Today this Addon don't work with WOTLK.
I plan to rewrite it completely but it will take time.

I'm doing so many extra hours at the office that I did not have the courage to code when i go back to home.
And this situation will continue a few more months (until a major milestone in the design of the aircraft that i make will not be done.)

Once this task will be accomplished, I will be happy to work on this addon because, like you, I dream to see him in game fully fonctional.

Roleplay Mission Editor (RME) is an addon to create custom missions.

With RME, you can:
* Create missions fully configurable directly in game
* Create objects that can serve as an objective of mission, loot, reward.
* Automatically share or download missions available in your server and faction.
* Conduct a campaign mission on the same principle of WoW missions
* Lead a team player as a "Game Master" (you can unblock some mission, share objects, etc...)
* Make a lot of other things! (your target spoke by typing / RME <blabla>, you can knock the members of your group in GM mode, etc...)


After more than 500 hours of coding and testing, I am pleased to announce the release in quasi-stable version of the addon "Roleplay Mission Editor". This addon is what I always wanted to be able to do in this game:

Create simply missions fully configurable intuitively and especially without limit.

Thanks to the opportunities offered by the WoW interface, combined with a crazy bet that I launched in September 2007, is now possible.

Note: Today this addon exist only in french. EN translation is in progress and will be available asap.


RME is still under development but work correctly
(more of 100 RME missions has been created by players in Kirin Tor shard)

RME Achievement system in progress !



"mission system" is done at 35% (and only one objective exist: kill mob. But its work ^^)
"achievement system" is done at 20%
"sharing system" is not started
"interface system" is not started (except achievement)

** For your curiosity, a litte progress note **

Addon Core
* New modules architecture: done
* New RME Event system : done
each module can use (via registration) and send internals events)
example:
module "RME_LOOT" wait the internal event RME_KILL_MOB (mob_id,mob_name,killer_id,killer_name) for add an item in your bag.
With this system, a module with others functionalities can wait this event and trigger another action/event.
And i can add new functionalities without modify the code of RME_KILL_MOB and RME_LOOT modules.

* Event Kill_mob module: done

* Explore zone module : not done

* ...

i hope you managed to get up with him so you guys could trade ideas and possibly inccoperate each others mods...

In fact every time I think about that these/those kine of addons will
maybe one day work ... gives me a thrill and my hearts bumps faster.

I'll love to RP in WoW ... but those addons would finaly give you
a hole new level of interacting with each other.

I'll repeat myself ... I really looking forward to those addons. =)

From what I read of the author of the reputation mod, he seems willing to work "with" you on integration.

He too was making a quest editor until he was informed about yours, so has focused on his other role play mods instead.

I'd suggest definately getting in contact with the other Role Play Mod maker; because you two would make quite an awesome team.

localization and update

As many other I wait for an addon like this for years.

Years ago there where "myQuest" which was unlikely
never updated after 2.2 or so. Than was another project
which tried to give some life to "myQuest"
... than there was pilus with his huge pool of addons planed.

But as most ... these projects are lagging of time or
participants. I'm not good in LUA (never tried really)
so I don't even think about participating.

Maybe you should contact the makers of "flagRSP" and/or "flagRSP2".
There localized the flag very well an they got some serious
skillz on RP addons. Also Pilus is maybe a man for you to
ask. As you see on his site (pilus.info) he has big plans an maybe
he can give you some advice you never thought of. Or maybe he
even will participate gladly if you give him a shot.
So he don't have to do this thing from scratch.

Oh... my.. frelling... god.

I so want this add-on in English and working on WotLK.

And as KingStoph linked in a previous comment: http://www.pilus.info/

Check out the Reputation add-on. If this addon could create missions and link to our own Guild Reputation, that would so rock. People could literally earn their Guild Ranks.

Seeing this has made me excited about playing WoW again. I hope you don't abandon this add-on/idea.
