Introduction

oUF is a unit frame framework.
It attempts to simplify the process of writing unit frames for WoW by doing all the trivial and painfully boring parts for you.
So you can focus more on experimenting with the look of the frames.

By itself oUF doesn't do much, a layout is required.

Feedback

Generally, bugs should be reported through the author of the layout.

There's few ways to report oUF issues.
You may use our GitHub issue tracker, alternatively, you may make a post on the WoWInterface oUF forum.
The preferred method is GitHub.

You can still re-create the old behavior with :SetAlpha()
but lowering alpha = darkening only with black background

No it shouldn't.
same color on background and foreground then.

i forgot two important things
.frequentUpdates on pet bugs power bar
suppose to work for player and pet, but in OnPowerUpdate function
local power = UnitMana('player')
self:GetParent():UNIT_MANA("OnPowerUpdate", 'player')
'player' hardcoded

and

You can do that from a layout with :PostCreateAuraIcon(icon, icons, index, isDebuff).

in default health update function oUF.colors.health never used, so you have to always override to change it
would be nice to add there

This is really up to the layouts and the layout authors. oUF supports delayed registrations of elements, it however doesn't support disabling of enabled elements, because no-one has requested it.

Doing configurations from the core is close to impossible as layouts are very free to do whatever they feel like.

Great unitframes. Swapped from pitbull over to this.

Just some feedback though, I think this addon would be even better if there was an in-game config menu. Would make it easier for people with little .lua knowledge (such as myself) to customise and use the addon.

I understand that it isnt an easy thing to just add because of how oUF is structured, but if it was structured somewhat like ag_unitframes where you could choose layouts from a list and switch instantaneously, this addon would be perfect.

Still, great work

Does the layout support the castbars? A layout isn't required to have everything oUF provides.

Missing Something

I downloaded oUF_Castbar from wowace and it says oUF now has castbars. If oUF has castbars, I'm missing them or I'm missing something in the lua. All I get, whether or not I enable oUF_Castbar, is the default WoW castbar.
