Telnets UI Art

This is an ART PACK. It is NOT a stand alone Warcraft add-on. In order to use this you MUST also download a small add-on called “BTex” as well. BTex will enable you to display the art contained in either of my Art Packs and use them as a backdrop for your action bars.

I have included an "How To Install.html" file for instructions of where to place these files in order for them to work in-game.

TO USE MY ARTWORK YOU MUST INSTALL THE ADD-ON CALLED: BTex (Author is Tiggi)

Details:
There are 2 Art Packs. The first pack I released in 2009 contains backgrounds that are elegant, and detailed. They are all fairly neutral as not to distract too much from the actual game and are considered my more "fancy" backgrounds.

They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):

DarkUI
NexusUI
SFKeepUI
ZulDrakUI

The second Art Pack I have just finished (2011). These backgrounds are a little more sleek and much simpler in design. They are for those players who want a more slim looking UI but still retain a little flare as well.

They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):

SlimUIDark
SlimUIRed
SlimUISkull
SlimUITiny1
SlimUITiny2

Thanks for some great artwork tho. Edt: For me the artwork goes outside the monitor, aka art is to wide, i have a widescreen monitor, but neither i set resolution it looks the same, what a i doing wrong? Sems like unless i get a monitor with higher than 1680x1050 this art wont work for me. Last edited by Poof : 01-02-09 at 06:13 PM.

Sems like unless i get a monitor with higher than 1680x1050 this art wont work for me.

1680x1050 is what I run and the artwork goes right to the sides as it should be so i'm sure we can get it working for you.

I checked my settings in WOW, and the one thing I do have, is in the Video Options, I have my UI scaling CHECKED and the slider bar underneath is all the way to the left (Smallest). I moved it to the right, and the textures got larger and didn't fit, so I think this may be what your talking about and fix the scaling for you.

Give that a try and let me know if it worked

Hmm, looks almost there. Are you using BTex or Electroflux?

Here is a shot of my Settings

As you can see the slider is ALL the way to the left, the only thing i can think of, is that if your slider looks like its to the left, but its not quite all the way (maybe off just a tad?)

I'm sorry but there's no way I could support and provide setup instructions for every mod I use.. you will need to sit with the mods yourself and play with the settings, and/or ask the mod author's for help.

I can provide you a list of addons I currently use however, they are listed below, but again, I cannot provide support for any of them.

I'm quite fresh on these sorts of things but.. how do i change the already set texture (default tree with the ElectrofluxTextronator addon) to any of the NexusUI? Do i type /et art texture NexusUI? and btw, the texture is covering my actionbar and all of the other bars aswell.

Telnets A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 2 File comments: 12 Uploads: 1	Im at work and I dont know the exact string of commands for TE, it is something like you put /et art texture NexusUI that will change it. For the nexus one, you will also have to adjust the height (it will look squashed) because its higher then the default setting. That command is something like /et texture height 512 .. But if you type /et it should provide you with help as well in what the exact command is. Just follow along in there and you should get it, its really not difficult, and the mod has fairly clear instructions included in it. As for the texture being over the buttons and hiding them, that i dont know how to fix, thats not a texture issue, and doesnt have anything to do with my release. ET is set to put the textures on the "background" layer of the interface. Ive never had to change that setting, or ran into your issue with it, so check within ET to see if it has a layer option that might be set to something other then "Background".. if it is set ok, then i would be looking at the settings of your action bar mods, maybe they are set to a layer behind the background which is why they are being covered. Again, I cant offer any more help then that for you. My release is simply "textures" or "Artwork" to use with the mod, I did not have any part in writting any mod itself, so any problems or issues with the way they function need to be directed towards the mod's creator. Hope I was of some help though..
