This little addon will gather up all of your addon minimap buttons and put them into a movable frame.

Features

Known Issues

Metamap minimap button is incompatable due to the way it is handled in the addon.

The addon does not grab button that do not have a name currently.

Currently discovered addons that are this way are:

Enchantrix (Part of Auctioneer Advanced)
onRaid

The Blizzard buttons that only show up under certain conditions, (battleground, LFG) will only display on the Frame when they are shown normally and active scanning is enabled. Otherwise they will apprear on the minimap when they are shown.

The Add feature is a little more powerful than I originally expected. So you can accidentally grab things that you didn't expect to be able to. (Other Addons) I've tried to protect the blizzard interface features and a couple other things, but let me know if you can grab something that you don't think you should be able to. If you do accidentally add something to the bag you can always remove it.

I've added a lot to the Localization, so it's another quick and dirty, horrible translation. Thanks again for the crazyness Google. So if you can do a better translation please help me out and submit it to me so I can add it to MBF. Hopefully Google didn't make them too funny or offensive.

Note:

The ability to add minimap icons to the table can be a general or partial name of the icons. The button override table add should be the exact name of the button that you want to override and collect.

Hmmm...You do have it set to collect the blizzard buttons and it didn't somehow get added as an ignore? You could try to do a manual add to tracking button and see if it lets you grab it then.

elladine A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 23 Uploads: 0	so i downloaded the new version last night and then logged on this morning. somehow it messed up some graphics. weird pictures and stuff blocked out weirdly. i reverted back to the version before it and now all is normal. i dunno if it was a coincidence or what, as that is the only addon i've updated within the last week. but i figured i oughta mention it just in case.

MBF has never done anything with the tracking button or any of the other blizzard buttons unless you told it to gather or hide them from the options. If your blizzard buttons are disappearing make sure that other addons are not hiding them.

If you're using Elk's Buff Bars for example it hides the Blizzard tracking frame by default. And one of the clock addons hides the calendar button by default as well, so sometimes addons you don't expect to mess with the Blizzard buttons hide them.

-Edit: I remembered some addons that I noticed hide things by default.

Bachlott A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 2 File comments: 173 Uploads: 1	Yeah I had a typo in my embeds.xml that made it not find the libraries. Then beging so tired and trying to get it fixed I messed up 3.0.3 a tiny bit. But hopefully 3.0.4 has them fixed now that I've had some sleep.

Did you try to re-download it again?

I noticed in the patch notes this:
3.0.2
- Added - Missing Library properly this time.
That may have something to do with it. As the newest version I downloaded has this missing library in the LIBS folder under the MinimapButtonFrame.

Also seeing as to how this release is a big change to the addon I would suggest deleting the old MinimapButtonFrame folder before installing this one to prevent any problems. Usually not necessary but never hurts

I'll look into seeing if there is some way I can either set an option to lock it in place or something similar. And for anyone paying attention. Here is the feature list for the upcoming version 3.0 1) Minimap button now an LDB minimap button. Basically moved from my coding to a library. 2) Options screens completely redone. Yanked out my XML code and moved it all to Ace3. 3) Drag Button now a title bar on shortest side of MBF, with option for alternate location. ie. the opposite side of the frame. 4) Profiles have been implemented. Using Ace3 of course. 5) And finally the long awaited Custom sorting. With having done all of that I decided that I should just jump the version to 3.0 rather than going to 2.5 since that seemed like more of a minor update version. So what is left to finish? 1) Localizations. Since I moved stuff to Ace3 I decided to move the localizations as well. 3 Down 5 more to go. 2) And 2 very minor little issues that I want to make more to my liking before I release the thing. One is the fact that removing items from the exceptions table tend to leave a nil value in the saved vars. And I want to decide on the best way to handle a custom sorting storage. Keep all of the items it's ever seen or remove icons from the list that aren't currently on there. So very minor stuff. And if I'm not too lazy in doing things like I usually am. I'm hoping to have it done before next week. Damn localizations are tedious. I'll update the screenshots to give anyone who actually reads this a little taste.

I love it but I have one issue, the minimap button for the mod itself. Could you please make it so you have to hold a modifier key down to move the minimap button or maybe a way to lock it. I find myself right clicking it and draging it away from where I want it. The enchantrix minimap button is a known issue. The developers of enchantrix chose not to give the button a name. So unfortunately I am unable to add the button. I've reported it to the developers but they're not real concerned about fixing it.

The MBF bar is designed to disappear when the box is locked. This was by request so that it fits into designed UI Layouts better. The hide when locked is only for hiding the border of the main box and the background. The main drag bar will always disappear when it's locked.
