SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

everything's working now with fresh reinstalls of bf and sbf, starting from scratch. looking at my old SBF.lua, what happened to spacingX and spacingY. I'm trying to recreate my old frames and I can't find these in the new SBF.lua

Wait, you were migrating from 3.0 to 3.1?
Petki - No, you can't have different sized icons in a frame

My WoW keeps crashing everytime I use this addon. No errors just a complete lockup.
I did confirm this matter by disabling all addons and leaving only SBF enabled. Anything I could do to help me find the source of the problem? |

I am getting the same errors as duhwhat and had to disable BF to get it to work. I am also getting some very random errors while casting spells from SBF so far its been at a place that has been very inconvenient to grab any error info so I can't give details yet but will post when I can get the error. Luckly the errors are extremely infrequent (only 2 so far). That also means it will be fun to grab..

I think I have narrowed down the BF error, and will get a fix out soon.
Facktotum - Very strange. Have you tried deleting the saved variables file for SBF before logging in? |

Hopefully 3.1.17 will fix your ButtonFacade woes. Let me know how you make out.

Satrina : I did as you suggested and wiped the variables from WTF folders before logging in and creating new layouts.
Seems to be working fine. |

Filtering
I was playing around with the filtering settings and commands (Love it!), but ran into an error after having added this filter "n=rejuvenation&!my" to a new buffs frames. The error is this:
Interface/Addons/SBFOptions/FilterTab.lua:120:invalid option in 'format' As a result, I can't switch to my new frame (the default two I can choose between however). This happened once I had (finally) figured out how to filter out other druid's hots from my own. Annoying :P Edit: It'll hopefully sort itself once I delete the WTF files (gah, the horror :P), but still! . EDIT 2: Got the latest version, same error. Wiped the WTF files. Logged back in and create a new frame, and this error appears when I attempt to rename it: (Actually, simply pressing enter without changing the name 'SBF 3' gives this error) ../SatrinaBuffFrame/SBFButtonFacade.lua:54: attempt to index local 'f' (a nil value)

Having a little trouble getting the desired effects I want for my SBF.
I have 2 frames, 1 for buffs and 1 for debuffs. Each frame has a max of 28 buffs/debuffs, set up in 2 rows (so 14 per row). What I'm trying to do is to find a way to make the debuff anchor move down whenever the 2nd row of the buff frame is used. Otherwise, the buff and debuff frames will overlap each other. The reason I want to do that is because I placed my debuff anchor to where the 2nd row of the buff anchor would begin. I don't want to have a big gap between my buff and debuff frames. I tried playing with flowing but all it did was put the buff and debuffs in the same row. I'm trying to get it so that the debuffs will ALWAYS be one row under the last buff row. Oh and by the way, I'm not using bars, just the icon boxes. I hope what I wrote was understandable. Any help would be really appreciated

Hi Satrina. I figured out what my issues was way back when I said I'd like to see a "working out of the box branch". The issue was the whitelist/blacklist. As soon as I toggled that, I got back exactly what I wanted from SBF

I get a white outline around the buffs/debuffs when I log in. It goes away if I toggle the options for SBF. Seems to only happen when using no skins or using the default skins that come with ButtonFacade.

Random error
Ok so I got an error again from SBF and its very random and very seldom so far. This happened when I cheap shotted a monster.
Date: 2009-07-31 18:10:15 ID: 1 Error occured in: Global Count: 1 Message: ..\AddOns\SatrinaBuffFrame\SBFElements.lua line 177: attempt to compare number with nil Debug: (tail call): ? [C]: ? SatrinaBuffFrame\SBFElements.lua:177: DoBar() SatrinaBuffFrame\SBFElements.lua:127: UpdateDurations() SatrinaBuffFrame\SBFElements.lua:681: FastUpdates() ...terface\AddOns\SatrinaBuffFrame\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:272: ...terface\AddOns\SatrinaBuffFrame\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:242 If you really want the huge addon's list I can post it but yes its um huge Ugh just got it again in a Uld raid on my Spriest. Not fun. No time to grab the exact error during the fight. And got the same exact error above back on my rogue again this time when eating from my bag but I think my 2 weapon poisons were wearing off about the same time possibly..
