Shows time left until diminishing returns on enemy/friendly/yourself, as well as how far the spell is diminished. Shows the next diminish, so for example when a Cyclone first fades from a player it'll show 50%, once the 2nd one is casted within 15 seconds of the first one fading it'll show 25%.

You can now track enemy, friendly and your own diminishing returns (and filter which of each you want to see), including on NPCs. The spell timer was removed and has been split into the mod http://wowinterface.com/downloads/info9051-CCTracker.html

Essentially how it works, stolen from Darzog's description in comments.

Enemies: You cast fear on the enemy and an entry appears under DR (When the fear ends of course). A symbol representing the type of DR will appear along with the enemy name with a 50% (cause it was the first fear), and a timer. This means that the next fear on that enemy player will last 50% of the duration on the next cast. Then it goes to 25%, then 0%. Then you just watch the timer. When it expires that means you can fear the person again.

Self: Basically the same thing. But when you get feared it brings up all this information about you so you know if you can be feared, sheeped, blinded, etc.

Friends: Same as self, but on friendly players

first of all, THANKYOU for this addon. i've been dying since ProxDim quit working in 2.4.

one thing didn't seem to be right - in the latest revision you edited the refresh duration from 15 to 20 seconds, but i'm quite sure DR resets 15 seconds from the END of the effect. will you be changing this back?

i also have one suggestion - it would be awesome if there was a class icon next to the bars rather than just the name in text on the bar. if you have time to implement that feature it would be super helpful. thanks!

do you think it's necessary to say, for example, "Fears" on the DR bars? it's confusing sometimes to look at the bars and see so much information. when i glance at the bar i see the icon, which is a fear icon, and then i want to see the name in the most effective manner possible.

i think anyone who is smart enough to use an addon like this knows what other spells share DR with the ones they're watching. the icon should be enough information i think.

on the other hand, i could almost see a use to having more information...in the form of another icon perhaps on the opposite (right) side of the bar that shows the class icon of the target of the bar. that way, in arena, where there are not often 2 of the same class, you wouldn't even have to read the name you would just see the icon for fear and the icon for say, a druid, and know exactly what the bar is for.

just some ideas i had - thanks for listening.

sounds great - thanks

have you had any luck testing the DR to see if it's really 20 seconds? i had always thought 15 - i'll try and test it a bit - reminds me that the addon doesn't seem to work in duels, or didn't when i tried like 2 weeks ago. i'll give it another try.

I though it was 15 originally as well, but when testing Cyclone on mobs it looked to be more like 20 seconds, and I've been noticing issues with things being immune longer as well.

Scare Beast is on the fear DR. In games against hunter priest this week I have seen the two incur upon each other.

Edit: On another note, that page is wrong. The wowWiki page states Freezing Trap has no DR, however it does.

I seem to be having a bit of trouble with both drtracker and afflicted2. The cooldowns/crowdcontrols/diminishing returns/etc are not being shown at the anchor position; they are scattered about my screen.

Running the tests will properly show where these trackings should be shown.

Moving the drtracker anchor will move the non-test trackings, though still not at the anchor.

Moving the afflicted anchors does nothing to what's show.

I hope this is somewhat clear, and any help would be greatly.

Actually I found the problem, my hud was interfering with these addons. Thanks for the great mods

Are you sure you're measuring from the END of the effect?

Check out the patch notes from the patch that DR was implemented:

"Spells must be used on the same target within 15 seconds of the *end* of the duration in order to be diminished. In other words, if a target hasn't had a slowing spell active on them for more than 15 seconds, the next slowing spell will have full effect."

The testing I've done on my own completely backs this up as well.

Yes I am, I'll get the test data in an hour or two that I was using, it almost looked like it was 15 seconds if they weren't immune, then 20 if they are but still trying to get something a bit more solid.
I was testing this using Cyclone on mobs, so it might be an odd case that mobs follow a different DR rule.

For some reason I can't move the anchor box.

it shows up when told, says Alt-drag etc but simply won't move from the middle of the screen.

I can make it go to an afflicted frame, and I can move all of the afflicted frames just not drt
