Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

Feature Suggestion
In addition to being able to turn on a tooltip that contains the clique bindings, it would be nice to be able to bring up a "current bindings window" that can be positioned and left in place within the gui. This would be a nice alternative to the tooltip since it can be positioned and then you dont have to worry about the tooltip popping up in a place where you dont want it to block your vision.

ZIP seems corrupted
Not sure whats going on, but if I try to use the built in ZIP and dragn'drop feature of Windows XP, to drop the addon folder from Clique-r93.zip into the Addon folder, it errors out with "The system cannot find the file specified." It seems to be failing to extract the "images" folder.
I'll give exact steps to repro: 1. click Download from this site, save to Desktop (or whatever is your default) 2. doubleclick on the downloaded Clique-r93.zip file to open it 3. notice a Clique folder and a Clique file (unknown type) 4. Open C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns folder 5. try to dragn'drop the Clique folder into the Addons folder 6. get error above. My workaround was just to use WinRAR to extract the contents to its own Clique-r93\ folder, which displays only the Clique folder as expected. I'm extracting a bunch of other ZIP files right now, and this is the only file I've had this problem with... actually never had this error before, so not sure what 's causing it. I assume it might be the method of compression storage that you are using, since WinRAR worked OK. This is just more of a "heads-up" report than anything, just in case others are having extraction problems too. |

Re: Re: Re: ZIP seems corrupted
I'm not sure why the windows .zip is choking on it, but the file was created with the standard zip utility. I'll see what I can do.

I really don't want to read 71 pages of comments to find out if my question has been answered so I hope you don't mind my asking...
If I set right click to Prayer of Mending, what keypress do I use to override the clique binding so i can rightclick my portrait and leave a group at the end of an instance? Thanks! |

Alternatively, you could put the menu binding on right-click in the out-of-combat bindings and then, out of combat, it would work as before.

Rather than installing a third-party extractor, just don't extract the Clique and Images files. Create a Clique folder in your addons directory, drag everything inside the zipped Clique folder except the Images file into it, and everything'll work fine.

This is a must have for any serious healer. It works wonders with grid. Party, Raid, BG, even solo. I use it alot in AV.
I've setup my gird to fade when raid members are outside 40 yards. So whenever i see an ally taking damage i just click his icon on the grid layout. No need to actually select the player or even see where he is in the game world. I cant even start explain how much this helps my healing output. Even with less than 1000+ healing i top the healing list nearly every time. Thank you Cladhaire! best regards, Resto Xotli on EU - Neptulon |

Hey there, Clad!
Thanks for awesome addon, using for ages with X-Perl and PerfectRaid. Got one problem, may be not you should be asked, but its not the question for druid forums or wiki either. I need to assign Nature'sSwiftness+HealingTouch to alt+leftclick, so that it works as simple HT, and as NS+HT, when NS is ready! I know the macros for NS+HT: /cast Nature's Swiftness /stopcasting /cast [help] [target=player] Healing Touch Should i remove "[help] [target=player]" from it, so that it works for casts without targeting, cause like that it casts combo on me, even if i click raid or party member... Sorry for stupid question, simply not a pro in macroses.
