SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

It would appear that buff flowing will work with an interactive bar if you setup the buff flowing before enabling the interactive option O.o which seems odd.

I don't believe poisons will show up on a non interactive bar, best bet is to create a new buff bar, check the white list option, then add poison filters into it. Then you can add it to buff flowing...

Rogue poisons issue

I love this add-on but I've noticed that when I put poisons on my weapons the buff doesn't show up in the buff bar. I've looked through the settings and I cant find any reason they aren't showing up. Anyone able to help with this issue?

/sbf options

Under general tab pick what frame you want to edit under current frame near the top. Then go to the icon tab. On the left side of the page is a window to type in the size of the icon you want, hit apply.

Edited: Reading through the SBF notes, the monitor frame was implemented as a way to workaround the non-clickable buffs. Now that SecureAura has been implemented, this is a redundant feature as buffs can now be clicked off without having to set up another bar for specific buffs. This is what I meant when I said are interactive / monitor frames really needed, when one bar should now be able to do it all
All you can do with SecureAuraHeaders is basic duration sorting (this is what interactive frames are), nothing else. You can't do anything with layouts beyond the grid or filtering. SAH aren't a magic fix that makes everything like it was before blizzard decided to protect buffs.

Whoah there nelly!!!

It does everything I need to do, in a lightweight reasonably easy to configure bundle?

* Using SecureAuraHeaders, so you can cancel buffs via rightclick!
* Remaining duration can be displayed as spiral texture, bar and/or text.
* Shows stack count for buffs/debuffs with 2 or more stacks.
* Blinking icons for buffs/debuffs that will expire soon.
* Sorted by time, name or spell ID.
* Custom icon border (change the texture if you don't like it).
* Support for custom styling with ButtonFacade.
* Differently colored borders for temporary weapon enchants and debuffs.
* Debuff highlighting by debuff type.

Yes, satrina offers some other bells and whistles, but stuff that I've never used. What I was trying to say was: Why can't satrina do all the stuff it does, but in a lighter-weight package...

Except nivBuffs can't do jack compared to SBF. All it does is change how the normal (de)buff grid looks with some simple sorting. If you're not using filtering and multiple frames, you should probably find another addon that'll fit your needs better.

I use "!Stop TheSpam" to silence every addon that has a startup message. Like xy is loaded...



Thank god Satrina found someone how will take care of this awesome addon...


I would like to give two points to look after, when the next version will be "prepared".^^ First white/blacklist spell chosing works, but the checkbuttons seem broken e.g. u check cast by me, the "hook" is not shown, but the spell will be ddisplayed for what u chosed. Second I use Satrina for Buffs/Debuffs Dots on my Target and Procs. What I would like to have is a "CC" bar where i can switch targets without losing the bar. I dont want to use another addon for that like CCxy or DoTimer and so on. I dont know the LUA behind that or which game mechanics are used for that, but thats my major point what i would like to see in further version...
