This little addon will gather up all of your addon minimap buttons and put them into a movable frame.

Features

- Minimap Button Skinning (Square Minimap Buttons)

Known Issues

Metamap minimap button is incompatable due to the way it is handled in the addon.

The addon does not grab button that do not have a name currently.

Currently discovered addons that are this way are:

Enchantrix (Part of Auctioneer Advanced)
onRaid

The Blizzard buttons that only show up under certain conditions, (battleground, LFG) will only display on the Frame when they are shown normally and active scanning is enabled. Otherwise they will apprear on the minimap when they are shown.

The Add feature is a little more powerful than I originally expected. So you can accidentally grab things that you didn't expect to be able to. (Other Addons) I've tried to protect the blizzard interface features and a couple other things, but let me know if you can grab something that you don't think you should be able to. If you do accidentally add something to the bag you can always remove it.

I've added a lot to the Localization, so it's another quick and dirty, horrible translation. Thanks again for the crazyness Google. So if you can do a better translation please help me out and submit it to me so I can add it to MBF. Hopefully Google didn't make them too funny or offensive.

Note:

The ability to add minimap icons to the table can be a general or partial name of the icons. The button override table add should be the exact name of the button that you want to override and collect.

@ Daxx: Tried that when I first saw this addon here. DMBS seemed to override it and none of the minimap buttons were populating the frame.

@ Bach: Thank you very much for working on incorporating this. Will be eagerly awaiting the next version. =)

This doesn't work with Nurfed. I'd be awsome if it did.

I'll check the minimap button issue real fast and toss up what I currently have fixed.

Is it a specific Nurfed addon or the entire thing?

Add / remove keeps getting pushed back to fix incompatibilities but it is on it's way.

Version 0.9d will is posted.

Thank you to everyone who has found incompatibilities and requested features. It really helps me out and makes the mod better.

*edit: Removed all the 0.9d version info since it's up top now.

Kyrianna - Right now if the Blizzard Button is not visible the addon won't grab it.

I'm thinking that I could grab them even if they are not visible.
The only issue I've run into with it is that until they are made visible by the UI, you would have a blank place in the frame.

I'm not sure how to handle that so it doesn't just look blank.

I might have it gather the blizz buttons first.

But if you run a scan with /mbf scan whenever the button is visible it will grab it for you.
Well at least for that session. I don't keep track of what buttons you've collected between sessions.

Just downloaded. Been looking for something like this. Works great except or a few buttons I have.

Mobmap - Button doesn't get added. Fixed by changing under the Mobmap.xml file the buttons parent from UIParent to Minimap. (MobMapMinimapButtonFrame)

Trinity 2.0 - Doesn't work right. Appears to fall behind your plugin after you use it. You can recreate this problem by Shift+Left Clicking the button (one of the ways it happens). When you click it 3 new buttons appear around the Trinity button. This allows you to enter Trinity's Button config mode.

Some suggestions:

Allow the user to re-arrange the buttons.
Ability to remove certain buttons. Like the Blizz Tracking button. I would like to have it elsewhere.
Can you make it so your minimap button is collected too

Yeah this is one of the rare addons that use a parent of UIParent. If you really want to get technical, it isn't a "minimap" button. But when the add / remove is finished you'll be able to grab these without messing with it's code.

I'll look into this and see what's causing it.

Being able to re-arrange the buttons is coming in the future. Got a few other things to finish up on first.

Like Remove! Which will be working in the next version. - Almost done!

My minimap button can be turned off in the configuration screen. Then you can access the configuration with /mbf config

Great addon.

I would however request the same thing as sepioth in regards to your minimap button. Its nice to have the button shown and available instead of using slash commands, though at the moment it looks out of place by not being collected with the others.

Alright, Alright. I knew this day was coming when I was first asked to add the minimap button. There will be an option to collect it in the next version.

So here's what I'm currently working on for the next version of MBF barring any major incompatibilities or bugs. In no particular order.

- Titan Bar / FuBar support.

- All buttons on the frame the same size.

- Ability to change the color of the frame background.

- A small frame or something that is only visible when the frame is unlocked to make dragging easier.

- Option to gather the MBF Icon as well for a razor clean minimap. (While it's on the frame the click to hide the frame feature will be disabled)

Any suggestions, bug reports, etc. are appreciated as always!

I'm sure you're aware, but it looks like the far right column of buttons sticks out past the edge of the frame a bit.

New version looks and works great. The add remove features appears to work flawlessly. Looking forward to the new features. Keep up the good work

I thought you broke the CT minimap button collection. Had to do a /mbf add to recollect it

BTW I was just poking at you about your minimap button. No hard feelings I hope.

Adjust the padding setting up a little bit and it should fix that. I'm not sure why they do that from time to time. The size of the frame is determined using the size of the buttons + the amount of padding on each side and between the buttons, so it really shouldn't do that. Maybe that will fix itself when I go back over the code to clean it up and simplify it a bit.

Thanks. But be careful with the add. It's a little more able than I expected. I can grab things that you don't expect if you're not careful.

Yeah I removed the code that was gathering it specifically, and made it behave like the others. I still wish the authors would name the button.

About the minimap button. I said the same thing about it when I first made it. Why have a button on the minimap from me when I'm collecting all the others. But yeah that will be changed soon.

So. I found a couple of bugs last night and I'm hoping to get them ironed out before too long. So expect another new version sometime today. It will probably be just bug fixes rather than new features. I'll start on the new stuff as soon as I rough up the bugs a bit.

Big fan of this addon!

I have a feature request. I know you intend to allow customization of the appearance of the box, but I was wondering if you could make that compatible with SharedMedia(Ace2 thingy). I wonder if the buttons could be like cyCircled, too? (Big fan of the Vol look.) This would allow a great deal of textures and fonts to be used I think? I really like being able to exact color match and texture enhance my UI elements for uniformity.

Other than that, thank you for cleaning up all those buttons!
