Slacker

Version: 0009
by: rakkeh [More]

Simple frame to show whos slacking in a raid. Currently shows each member in the raid and what Flask (if any) they have active in realtime, also shows if a well fed buff is active, specific buffs show on mouseover.

Form is opened with "/slacker" or "/slack".

0009: Severe lag/error issues resolved

Notes:
I know this isnt exactly an original idea, however I have recently started creating the addon as a place to start and get a foothold in LUA and the WoWAPI.

0009:
-Fixed issues with client-side lag
-Fixed lag on mouseovers
-Refactored code to make it less crap to read / stop constantly using globals when locals are fine

0007:
-Modifications to allow realtime updating of buffs / raid members joining/leaving
-Stopped rows breaking on death knights

0005:
Rewrite from scratch implementing things I had recently learnt (i didnt have to make a function for class colours etc :/)
-Dynamic size with smaller text, now fits 25 easily on the screen without being stupid.
-Colours added to make things more obvious
-Tooltips added on mouseover

0004:
-Fixed Well Fed not clearing
-Fixed druid image being suck

0003:
-Updated frame to be movable
-Added Well Fed
-Added slashcommand so form is not always open (/slack /slacker)
-Removed need to mash scan button, scans when opened

hook into the OnEvent event. or if you want to you can have it refresh every time the event of a player gaining or losing a buff happens.

Thanks

Yeah, Im the same, prefer a visual element over just pressing a button/slash command and then a mod spamming people behind the scenes. Although many similar mods are around, ive not really seen any that show you.

Want to extend so that you dont have to open it every time you want it to refresh, not seen a good example of a way to do that though, some event I imagine. Other than that im fairly happy with it as my first mod, any requests I may try to work in though.
