This addon announces via whisper and raid chat when you throw the tainted core to another player, and if they are out of range of you, it will give them a whisper and a minimap ping on yourself. It also shows either a green message when the Tainted Core is throw successfully or a purple message when they are out of range (purple so that you can distinguish it from the red spellcast, etc errors) in the UI Errors Frame (frame that shows warnings like "Invalid Target").
You will need to make a macro with the following lines (see image for an example):

/use Tainted Core
The macro will show a grey/white dot in the upper right of the icon when you're in range and a red dot when you're out of range to throw. I will eventually have it automatically create the macro (hence the commented part of the lua file).
You can edit the messages it sends in the lua file. You may also notice that it sends an addon message, this is for a future addition to the addon. There's no harm to add that part now.
