Shining UI 

Hey there, 1.6 was the best UI i've ever used, but today i had a problem with it and deleted it .

I like 1.65 but it doesn't give the same feeling 1.6 did :/.

Is there anyway you still have the download for 1.6? If there is it would make my year .

u can find 1.6 with the "archieve" i downloaded it too and with you i tried 1.65 its not bad but i like the feelign i have with 1.65 .


@ Faultier that screenshot isnt so bad, i removed the 3d Portrait on player and target because it gives u extra unneccesary FPS, also could you add in a player and target level ? i still use this UI for my lvling alt. that new Grid like raid interface on the bottom looks good, is it grid or did you make it yourself ?
Anway if that pitbull raid frames for party , raid etc are changed abit, the portraits gone and the player level in the target - p layer thing then its definatly my "dream" UI.

Btw could u make those 2x 4 slot bar's on the left and rigth into 6 ?

Edit: i changed ur msbt abit, i enabled "incomming" so u can see heals etc.

i uploaded the wrong screenshot but i can show what i'd like abit different.
1st: i couldnt find the option but instead it show's 21k health it shud show 21.2k or 21.8k i noticed in 1.65 version this is fixed.
2nd: Threat bar above my name in the "player" bar, always handy whether its tank or dps
3rd: i like your 5 man group frame in 1.6 alot, the 10 and 25 man frames look abit like Grid. Grid is just plain awesome maybe you can disable the 10 and 25 frames and let Grid pop up on that place instead, and for 5 man's disable grid and your own 5 man frames.
4th: instead of those 2x2 slot bars next to ur main bar maybe 2x3 or 3x3


So basicly if you can change the 1.65 version's pitbull frames dramaticly thats my dream UI and i hope for alot people aswell.

@ Bealrog, Thank you very much i love this UI ! But there is a slight problem now. The two little bars on the sides of the Main bar (The ones with 4 spells each) is now missing and i have no idea how to get them back :/.

i had that too , just click on the "blue" / "gray" link or pipe that connects all those bar's, thats nexts to it .

One more question Baelrog. My msbt seems to break whenever i use this UI. It still shows loot and combat, but no healing/damage done or taken. Do you know how to fix this?

msbt incomming is disabled by Faultier .. which means u wont see any inc dmg, heals etc, u can enable this in options /msbt

Ok here's what i like to see changed in 1.7 form the version u send me:


Overall it looks really good, i like the new 2x3 bars next to the Main skill bar, the new macro mouse over is well hiden, map etc looks great. There's some points i'd like you to know maybe you can do abit about this.




1.left mouse over bar is gone??! The right still is there, could u make the left come back too?

2. chat addon is in german? "algemen" "kampflog" "gilde" im not from germany so are some others :P

3. Player and Target frame slightly bigger aswell as the Main spell bar (not those 2x3 bar's they can be small like this) just things like bit better then.

4. ^^ with that also increase the stance bar's make em abit bigger, as druid i got 5-6 stances and when its small like that, it will be hard to click.


5. try to replace the Pitbull raid frames for 10 and 25 man with Grid, its alot better!
hvnt checked the 5 man yet if i did ill let you know what i feel about it.

6. still missing player level. in both player and target frame edit: on my alt i do see player level.

7. where did those icons go that normally are stick @ the minimap like the bartender icon etc

8. Maybe replace Arkinv by some ligher addon this1 takes quite some MB usage for such a small addon.

9. Sldatatext has some very nice extra feature u can download i strongly recommend it SLDT Statline.
Basicly it show's for example your attack power, Haste and Arpen , and when buffed or trinket procs it will realtime update. There's some youtube examples with this addon.

3. i ment height mostly , wide is fine. Just the health bar twice as big.

9. its really small im sure there's plenty of oppurtunities, try it out if u dont like it , well too bad ;D

another thing i just noticed when u use hearthstone, the quartz bar (i think) above player frame is just abit misplaced, its abit messed up and slightly out of place.


Edit: i just noticed on my main and alt it doesnt show Combo Points on target !
1 more thing, i cant get used to your 5 man frame !! i know ur really proud of it, ill try to play with it abit more but so far .. i just prefer the old 1.6 one. but ill try some more tomorrow
