Minimap Button Frame

This little addon will gather up all of your addon minimap buttons and put them into a movable frame.

Features

Known Issues

Metamap minimap button is incompatable due to the way it is handled in the addon.

The addon does not grab button that do not have a name currently.

Currently discovered addons that are this way are:

Enchantrix (Part of Auctioneer Advanced)
onRaid

The Blizzard buttons that only show up under certain conditions, (battleground, LFG) will only display on the Frame when they are shown normally and active scanning is enabled. Otherwise they will apprear on the minimap when they are shown.

The Add feature is a little more powerful than I originally expected. So you can accidentally grab things that you didn't expect to be able to. (Other Addons) I've tried to protect the blizzard interface features and a couple other things, but let me know if you can grab something that you don't think you should be able to. If you do accidentally add something to the bag you can always remove it.

I've added a lot to the Localization, so it's another quick and dirty, horrible translation. Thanks again for the crazyness Google. So if you can do a better translation please help me out and submit it to me so I can add it to MBF. Hopefully Google didn't make them too funny or offensive.

Note:

The ability to add minimap icons to the table can be a general or partial name of the icons. The button override table add should be the exact name of the button that you want to override and collect.

I already deleted my saved variables (for everything) multiple times while tracking down which addon was the culprit. It keeps coming back up. What in blazes can an addon do that actually hangs up WoW?

I'm starting to think that there is some issues that MBF FuBar Plugin has with FuBar. I'm looking into the issue now.

I am not using FuBar since the patch, and at the time I tried MBF I didn't even have StatBlock or other LDB display installed either. WoW still froze upon load if I had MBF enabled. (After carefully removing addons -- I didn't enabled / disabled, but simply moved them out of the Interface\Addons dir -- and bringing back them in groups, I could narrow down the source to be MBF.)

The main thing is that since I didn't have FuBar installed, I don't think it and the plugin are the source of the problem. I am on a PC.

So, I've done some trivial development myself; not enough to be a real XML guru, but I was poking around and noticed that your Ui tag on line one of MBFTitan.xml is not closed properly, and there's a weird code snippet on line 2 that I don't know what it would be a part of. Could that have something to do with what's wrong?

Actually that's normal for a wow addon. Check out a few of the others and you'll see the same type of thing.

I prefer this approach far more than MBB, and I have so many addons, I need SOMETHING to handle all those retarded buttons! So I really appreciate your work. It was just frustrating that it was always freezing.

It handles that one just fine. Make sure you don't have another addon that is messing with the minimap buttons. This includes mods that change the minimap.

Which borders? The ones on the buttons or the one on MBF? MBF has an option to hide it's own border.

This is because both MBF and simpleMinimap are attempting to do the same thing. You can use either simpleMinimap or MBF to control the minimap icons but if you use simpleMinimap or any addon that attempts to manipulate the Blizzard icons you'll run into this error. MBF also attempts to keep hidden any Blizzard icon you've selected to hide.

So in short the reason for the error is an incompatability with MBF and any addon that manipulates the Blizzard icons. They work together but it will throw soft errors if you attempt to control the icons with both programs.

It used to be, but a lot of people wanted MBF to do square buttons seperately. I can look into what it would take to make it work with ButtonFacade again.
