QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.
If you are looking for the "Classic" version of QuestGuru click QuestGuru_Classic

I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.

Features include:

Enhanced 2 page quest display in the log
Patch 6.0 broke QuestGuru, so this is a completely different monster
Conforms to the WOD map quest log (Tooltips for quests and icons showing quest status)
Added full time quest level in front of quest name and tooltips.

For those who are missing the Quest Tracker of QuestGuru, try Kaliel's Tracker

I have been using it for a long while and is not half bad

TO-DO's:

Will try and revamp the quest tracker as I love it also. But wanted to get the Log out ASAP.
Try to bring back the other features of the old QuestGuru (Sounds, announcements, etc.)
Need to make a in-game config window, still a work in progress.

Q. How do I post a Bug Report?

A1 - Click on QuestGuru Go to the AddOn and on the right side there is a selection called "Bugs" click on that. You will need to be signed in to WoW Interface to create a bug report.
A2 - Or file a ticket on QuestGuru@CurseForge

Please include the version of QuestGuru you are using and copy/paste the error message you receive.
Please describe what you were doing when the error happened. This will help tremendously.

Q. How do I turn on auto-tracking of quests?

A - Look in the options for the game itself, not QuestGuru. Under Objectives there are options to set when to track quests.
QuestGuru does not duplicate these settings in its own options as it could become problematic and it is not necessary to duplicate options already available.

Q. Where can I find a version compatible with WoW patch x?

A. QuestGuru is supported for the current Expansion and Patch level running on the live servers. PTR versions may be supported as Alpha or Beta releases, but I offer no guarantee.

I changed the code to look for no information return and simply bypass processing for that objective after dumping some info into the chatlog.
I've added a slashcommand to invoke the routine at will: "/qg testui1"
For me, it's failing on "Shadow Wardens" and perhaps that's because the world tree marks are currency, not "items".
If the quest is an event quest (get 150 marks) then the type of quest should be event and the numObjectives should be zero.

IsDisabledByParentalControls Taint: As of 5.4.1 a call to the secure function C_StorePublic.IsDisabledByParentalControls() has been added to the UpdateMicroButtons() function. Because UpdateMicroButtons is called during the OnShow and OnHide events of over 30 frames, anything that touches those frames will cause taint errors. This includes adding addon options to the interface panel... [BUG] 5.4.1.17538: IsDisabledByParentalControls() taint: This means anything that touches (even reads, or hides or shows) any of those frames—including even an AddOn adding its options to the AddOns tab of the Interface options, an action explicitly supported by Blizzard!—could cause unpredictable, and essentially unavoidable, erratic taint errors in many popular AddOns ... A few posts have gone on to say some rather unflattering things about Blizzard's actions.... Come-on Blizzard, fess up and put out a quick fix! -g

Keep the feature list growing. I've long since had plans on addressing most of the issues and requests, but RL just comes first and right now, RL is a bit demanding on my time.

I too want much more action on the AddOn, but I don't get all of my wants either. Peace.

It doesn't help that Blizz just plasters a major bug in a minor patch and really hoses things up.

Reeb A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 16 Uploads: 0	Tracker The /script ReloadUI() & /Reload both get the tracker working again so i'll use that from now on rather than log off/on. Any achievements that were tracked are no longer selected & i have to select them again but that was the same if i log off/on. I can reproduce the error 100% of the time. Heres a simple example for myself. 1) Delete all Questguru folders in the interface/addons folder & also all saved variables files in the saved variables folder & the character specific folders. (If there is anything else that needs deleting that could cause a problem let me know) 2) Load in any character. Also doesnt matter if there are other addons running or not. 3) My character has loaded in & is at Summers Rest. I track an achievement, lets say 'Know Your Role'. Again, doesnt matter if i track just the 1 achievement or 2,3,4 etc makes no difference. 4) I play Horde. I think i need to go to Orgrimmar. I got to the portal & click it. 5) Orgrimmar loads in & bingo there is the error & the tracker is frozen. (Although i did notice the Options button still works in the top right corner of the tracker but nothing else)

This one Framed QuestGuru_Tracker. Has anyone else got this reported against QuestGuru itself? The trace-back on the error results does not list me, only the Message. But I don't use any of the listed functions. This doesn't make any sense to me. Does it make any sense to anyone? I'm personally leaning to Bliz having forked this one up and if you happened to be in the area, you got blamed. Gregity A Wyrmkin Dreamwalker Forum posts: 54 File comments: 50 Uploads: 3	Achievement Tracker Error Can you cause this error at will? How many achieves are you tracking? try "/script ReloadUI()" instead of having to logout and in. Case Sensitive, don't forget the () on the end. You might simply try /reload as sometimes other addon have that as a command. No guarantee on that one however.
