ToDo  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 0.23
by: seebs [More]

The ToDo addon is a replacement for the Quest Watch frame allowing you to monitor pretty much any combination of quests (including those without "objectives"), objects, and mobs you care to be alerted to. For instance, you could set a quest of "get 20 arcane powder and kill 5 squirrels". Whatever you want.

0.23 is updated for WotLK.

There are some bugs since 2.3, but I'm working on them, really! But yes, I know that it's not good about recognizing when you kill things for custom-made quests.

Everything works fine except that the todo frame seems to be missing.
I can only view via /todo list cause the frame is missing

Hello,

thank you for your work, time and effords !

I use this mod too for farming, or daily quests (great tool to prepare for the next day, when you dont have the quest yet.)

My Problem is, I cant move the ToDo_Frame and its in the middle of my screen. I did it with Visor and worked nice, but on next login the Frame is scrambled in a corner.

And well yes, even a small UI would be nice :-)
ATM I went over to modify the SV since thats easier than to list / add / delete with slash commands.

Hadn't thought of that! I'll see about trying to come up with some clever way to do this.

Quests vs. farming

Does this have an option to NOT show real quests, but only "quests" I have created? I really like the tracker in Fubar_QuestsFu and would rather continue to use it, but the features of ToDo sound attractive to use for my farming chores.

No handling of mouseovers.

I have been planning not to make a FuBar plugin or whatever, just because I'm not using FuBar and don't want to have to learn another API.

I do have a pending update trying to resolve a couple of occasional bugs, but I haven't quite figured out what my problem is yet.

Does this addon show the quest info in the game tooltip as MonkeyQuest does? So, if you need to kill 5 Duskbats - the tooltip will say "Duskbat 0/5" when you mouseover that mob.

FuBar?

This is a nice idea, but I don't want another frame on my UI. Any chance you'd make a fubar addon to make the text appear in a fubar popup instead?

This AddOn sounds like a real good idea, but I am having some problems with it. I don't remember if I had QuestsFu installed or not at the time, or installed with the QuestsFu tracker turned off, but the Blizzard quest tracker keeps appearing and disappearing with no input from me. It may show up for a while when I shift-click on a quest, but then it might go away suddenly and a while later might appear again.

If I have QuestsFu installed and the QuestsFu tracker turned on, then the Blizzard quest tracker keeps popping up unasked and getting in the way of the QuestsFu tracker. It goes away after a while, but comes back again later to interfere once again.
