EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/sharedmedia

no, colors are defined per group so if you want a different color, you'll need to create a new group for this kind of buffs.

Changing Color of Timeless Buffs?

Elkano love the mod!

Could you please instruct me how to change the bar color for timeless buffs to something other then the standard blue for timed buffs? I like the auras or timeless buffs to be different.

Is there a way to do this without having to create a new group?

Thanks

No, I dropped them quite a while ago and I will also not allow them to host any updated stuff.
And latest happenings made me even more unwilling to change my mind.

whitelist: only show de/buffs that are in this list
blacklist: don't show de/buff if it's on the list

and wrt the timemax sorting issue: the API doesn't return a timemax so I use the largest timeleft known. This results in this strange behaviour on login. Unfortunatly due to a race condition it can happen that some of the 30min buffs get the 60min duration from their group/raid buff counterparts :/ so I don't safe the data across sessions anymore.

Filtering by time at login & general help

Hello,

I started using your mod recently, and found it to be pretty useful.

I had some questions about filtering using the whitelist / blacklist - do you have a readme describing these features? I've played around with them, and some of them seem to behave the way I would intuitively expect, but others do not. For instance, I can use whitelist to force a group to display certain timeless buffs, but if I add a single item to the blacklist it seems to disable ALL timeless buffs. A readme or other instructions would help me understand if this is the intended behavior, and if so, how to best customize it.

I've been using filtering by time, which has worked pretty well. I did note that on login it mistakenly takes the buff's current time remaining as 'time max' and filters the buff accordingly.

As an example, I have all buffs 10 minutes and less in one window; all others are displayed in the default buff window.

When I log in with a long duration buff at less than 10 minutes remaining it ends up being filtered to the 'less than 10 minutes' frame.

It's a minor issue, solved by recasting the buff, but thought I'd point it out.

Thanks for the great work on this mod - it seems pretty lightweight compared to some others I've tried, which is wonderful.

Great Mod, but how do I remove the bar that pops up above my head? It's driving me absolutely insane.

I seem to be having an issue with this addon which is a shame because ever since I found this addon it has been a favorite of mine.

When ever my weapon gain a temporary buff such as a mana oil, Shaman totem weapon buff, poison, or the shaman weapon buffs such as windfury the timers on my addons and their bars bug out. The time no longer ticks away and the bars eventually all go empty even tho the buff bar remains. When ever I gain a new buff or debuff from anything be it a priest tossing me a fort or a trinket proc they are not displayed on my buff bar either. Once I remove the weapon from my character or the effect on the weapon fades all my buffs are displayed accurately until I apply another oil or re-equip the buffed weapon.

I've spoken with others who use this addon and they do not share my issues so if anyone knows of any addons that conflict with this addon or how I may be able to fix this any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can we get this fixed? My Buffbars don't refresh immediately, making it very difficult to use. I've had to go back to the old version that shows %m instead of the time.

with the tracking in the filter (showing tracking in the list and hence not being meant to have on the minimap)

reverting to 1.3

exactly what am I doing wrong with the new version since I can't get it to display on my minimap??
