HealBot Continued   

Please add "Flash of Light" in the list of monitored buffs for paladins. That way, we can monitor Flash of Light HoT on the bar, as a buff.

Instead of ReloadUI (which doing a bad stuff in certain areas), you can just logout and log back in.

I too once had issues with my healing settings not "sticking" when switching specs - (I have holy & disc specs on my priest).

Not sure which step actually resolved the issue, since I did them all at once, but after doing this, my spec switching has worked flawlessly...

1. I deleted my healbot wtf settings on my healing toon. (You'll lose your custom settings when you do this, so it's prudent to first save a backup wtf folder, just in case...) -

2. Log into primary spec and set spells.

3. Log out. Log in again to see that they're still in place. (They should be...)

4. Switch to your secondary spec. Set those spells.

5. Click on the Reload UI button at the bottom of Healbot's spells page. Check spells to see that they are all in place. (Mine were at this point.)

6. Log out.

7. Log in again. Switch back to your primary spec. You should see your primary spec spells.

Not sure if it was starting with clean wtf files, or reloading the UI after setting the secondary spells, or a combination of the two... but since doing this intial setup, I have not had a problem. (You also could skip #1 to start with, saving your custom settings-- if #2-6 don't work, then go back and try the process again using that first step...)

Again, not sure if I need to do this, but now when I do modify my spell setup, (on either spec), I use that Reload UI button when it's all done, and not once have I had an issue with switching specs-- my spells are exactly as I set them. And I haven't had to do the "log in--log out--log in--log out" dance since that first time, either.

(((Hmmm, so now that I'm nearly done typing this, maybe all that is needed is to "set" the spells with the Reload UI button...)))

I downloaded and installed 3.3.0.9, however, the TOC files says this is version 3.3.0.2.

Sorry if this has been asked before but how do you use healbot with a dual spec. Everything I have read doesnt seem to work. I have the latest version. As long as I stay online it is fine. As soon as I exit game completely and start WOW fresh my Alt spec settings are gone.

I've just installed the 3.3.0.8 version and the "Add to my target" function seems to be broken and not working correctly after people have either just joined the group/raid or have just left.

This is meant as an FYI.....keep up the good work as this is a great addon..

I've noticed with a paladin character that sacred shield icon does not show the correct finish timer in the healbot bar... For example, I cast it over a player, and some seconds after it shows 5 seconds remaining, when really it has 25... When the countdown reachs zero, remaining 20 seconds for real, the sacred shield icon resets as if I had casted it again, with no timer, just to start a new countdown again... that happens two or three times in the same 30 seconds cooldown of sacred shield.

I havent found anything related to it in the options, nor the forums, but the other paladins from my guild have the same issue.

All this happens with the very last healbot version (3.3.0.8), together with more addons or alone. Spanish esES client.

Any clue about this ?

3.3.0.7 has frame positioning issues in addition to previously existed (and not yet fixed).
Changing between skins with different bar width cause random bars to stuck at previous width.
10 -> 5, 5 -> 25

Installed new version and got:
as the line number changed and the error was about "loading variables" I tried removing my older saved variable .lua and .bak and it now works just fine. The error must have been that my saved variables were from an older version and were not compatible.. thanks for the quick reply

A common complaint about Healbot from resto druids is that the HoT icons on your bars don't have a fixed position. Rather, the position depends on the order you cast the HoTs. This is one area where Grid is superior since in Grid you can, for example, always put your rejuv in the top left, regrowth in the top right, etc.

I made a quick modification to healbot to make it always put HoTs in the same order. Rejuv will always be on the left, then regrowth, then Lifebloom, then WG, then abolish poison. If you only have Lifebloom on a target, for example, you'll see two blank spaces before the lifebloom icon. This makes it easy to scan through your raid to quickly see who is missing certain HoTs.

Just download this file http://stashbox.org/756198/HealBot.lua and replace your current HealBot.lua in your HealBot directory. If you want to change the order of the HoTs, do a text search for "tony" and it should be pretty self-explanatory.
