SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Are you using ButtonFacade? Make sure you are using 3.0r170 or later.

I've been running into an issue of seeing screenfreezes (upwards of 3-5 seconds) when I drop totems in raids. In solo play, I don't notice anything. I'm not in combat either. I had to log out, and turn off SBF, and turn on ElksBuffbars.
I like these buff frames alot (saves a huge amount of space), so any idea what I can do to help out with this issue? Was a standard BT raid. |

Re: Filter by count?
Sounds good - on the list for 3.1!

Filter by count?
The ability to filter certain buffs into a new frame is really nice. I was wondering if it would be possible to filter a buff based on its stack count?
My enhancement shaman has the talent Maelstrom Weapon. When it stacks up to 5, it makes his next spell with a cast time an instant cast. I was wondering if it could be filtered into my "Important buff is up, stupid!" buff frame when the stack size reached 5? |

nailertn - preserving colour schemes through buff flowing sounds like a good option. I'll put it on the list for 3.1
mlautens - Will check into it! |

Sentry Totem
Not sure if this is a bug or whether it's me. When my shaman drops a Sentry Totem, I am supposed to be able to right click the buff and switch back and forth between my character's view and the totem.
When I do that using SBF, it cancels the buff and destroys the totem. Works ok when using the Blizzard standard icon. Thanks! |

It is either a feature suggestion or a question how to achieve the desired effect as i seem to be unable to accomplish it: Right now I have all my buffs and debuffs that are of little importance from a pvp aspect display as icons in the topright corner of my screen. The pvp related buffs are displayed in frame 3 as blue bars just above my player frame, pvp related debuffs go to frame 4 which is parented to frame 3 so that all the debuffs are stacked on top of buffs and are displayed as yellow bars (inheriting their color from frame 3 debuff bar color). Now comes my problem: I have a 5th frame collecting and forwarding CRITICAL debuffs (blind, fear, cyclone, viper sting, ...) to frame 3, these go on top of all the previous stuff (frame 3 child below frame 4). And I would like the bar color to be distinct, say red But frame 5 of course inherits the debuff color property from frame 3. The way I see it right now is I either learn to live with this uniform debuff color or I simply leave the critical debuffs in frame 5 and place it somewhere above 3 so that the color can be kept but then it looks pretty dumb hanging in the middle of nowhere most of the time and also the number of bars in frame 3 need a strict limit. Is there a better solution to this? Or if not, would it be possible to either a.) allow us to set a unique color to buffs/debuffs in the spells tab since the structure is already there or b.) have a checkmark on the sticky tab to determine whether one would like child frames to inherit color properties from parents or c.) allow frame anchoring (given the container frame heights are dynamically set otherwise it is pointless)?

OmniCC? Hmm, interesting idea. Right now, not possible. In 3.1... maybe. I'll look into it, I am intrigued. You can apply OmniCC style timers with SBF, slap em overtop of the buff icons and be similar, but you won't get the swirl.
Interesting idea!

OmniCC?
SBF v3 is fantastic, thanks for all your work
How would I go about letting OmniCC handle the buff/debuff timers and getting a cooldown spiral on my buff icons? |

SBF, as with any other buff addon, just reports what the game client tells it. If the tooltips are wrong in the default UI, they'll be wrong in any other buff addon as well.
It's a pretty infeasible problem to solve since you'd have to know who cast it, then scan their talent tree to see if they even had the talents to improve, then modify the tooltip on the fly. I'd recommend adding your voice to the many asking Blizzard to fix the root of the problem.

Full filtering for other units will be in 3.1. For now, the Units tab lets you choose to see other units buffs/debuffs, and gives simple filters for debuffs.
