ClearAfk

Version: 4.0.3
by: Nightness [More]

ClearAfk is persistent visual indicator of being AFK. It's a tiny addon that will shade the environment while you are AFK. Clearing AFK normally, will remove the shading. Optionally, when you left-click on the shaded environment, you can clear your AFK status.

Options:

/clearafk clicks - Clicking the shaded area will clear AFK. [Default]
/clearafk noclicks - Clicks will be ignored by the shading.

* Fix bug for high screen resolutions
* Added an optional click-though, instead of AFK being cleared when you click the shaded areas.

I love the idea. The only problem, is the size of the texture (or whatever) isn't large enough for some resolutions.

Needs either, settings, or a way to size it based on the res the person it using, or needs to be much bigger.

edit: also, settings to make it not clear/clear afk when clicked would be nice as well (meaning, it needs to support click through)

That's just my thoughts.

Thanks for the advice, and the bug report. I believe version 4.0.2 is what you want to download. It has your feature suggestion implemented.

almost perfect.

The clicks part is still using too small of texture size.
the noclicks setting is perfect

still not perfect <.<

the frame level.. or whatever is too high for the clicks setting.. it is just slightly higher than some of my kgpanels.
it doesn't do it with noclicks though.

and i haven't looked at your code oddly enough to see where it might be wrong. lol

after looking at code idk what could cause that.

the only thing i could think of was making two frames. the same frame for the darkening that's in the noclicks and a second frame that is ClearAfkButton for the clicking.

Yeah I can't go any lower... Your other addon's frames and (both of) ClearAfk's frames are probably on the same FrameStrata, "Background". According to wowwiki, nothing that receives clicks should be on the background layer (strata), so your other addon is ignoring that rule (if those frames receive clicks). I too am ignoring that rule on ClearAfk frames, because I want the frames as low to the UIParent as possible.

It's good enough. I highly doubt anyone else that will used this has kgpanels set as low as i do. and it doesn't bother me, because i use noclicks anyway.
