What is it?
This simple addon is a possible workaround to fix a bug that causes players to crash or lockup when attempting to use objects in the game world that turns the cursor into a "cog wheel" (cogwheel crash bug). The crash is caused by the game's tooltip. By disabling them from appearing, this prevents the tooltips from crashing the game.
How to Use
Type "/tooltips on" or "/tooltips show" to allow tooltips to appear. Type "/tooltips off" or "/tooltips hide" to prevent tooltips from appearing. Type "/tooltips auto" to allow the addon to automatically hiding the tooltips when entering an instance such as a dungeon and showing them when not inside a instance.
